drabble three: it would've been fun if you were the one.

she walks inside the bar, puffing her cheeks as she found two guys waiting for her. her eyes landed towards sandeul, grinning softly.

then she looks over the one young man that she haven't met after two exact years out of the award shows and festivals;

kim seokjin.

"we finally met as a three, like before!" sandeul claps, giving byulyi the seat across seokjin. she laughs, greeting the two of them.

"nice to see you attending again, byulie." seokjin murmurs.

she smiles back, her beauty had grown even more in person. seokjin had never seen her this up-close for the past two years, only greeting her with a clap or bow in each show they have each other.

he even thought that he saw her last week in the bus stop when he's driving.

but then he thought- she's too busy to even use a bus and she now has a car.

the thought made him grin.

they've conversed well, constantly skipping something back in the past that made them stop talking. then sandeul stood up, leaving them alone together to talk to find another set of order for them.

left in silence, seokjin started first. "how are you?"

byulyi smiles softly. "good, and probably busy." she chuckled. "i know you're busier, but glad to see you again." she wiggled her brows playfully, hearing him laugh. "what are you up to these days?"

"new shit." byulyi replied, surprising him. "you're cursing now, huh." seokjin crosses his arms, hearing her giggle. "people change, right?"

"mm. i'm glad you came though, thought you'll ditch us again." seokjin took a sip of his soju. she grins, "i told you- i'm a busy-ass person."

"yeah, right." he replied sarcastically, the two of them laughing.

it's been a few minutes, and they've talked about a lot of things. and it's surprisingly comfortable.

"see, it's not too bad to meet up again." seokjin cocked his brow, taking a shot of soju. byulyi chuckles, whispering. "we're now here." she fiddled on her shot glass. she received a smirk, "you told your fans that you're bored that's why you keep on releasing songs and covers."

byulyi purses her lips, cockily raising her chin. "so you're still updated about me."

seokjin grins softly, nodding. "what about it?"

byulyi giggled, shaking her head before taking another sip. "we were really something back then." she looks out of the windows, hearing him hum in response. "remember when we even broke up over the petty agency contract?" he whispers, grinning bitterly while staring at his glass.

byulyi grins. "what do you expect? we're too prim and proper before." she places her glass down.

"and now?" seokjin chuckled.

she laughs in reply, still waiting for sandeul to come back with another round of drinks.

"also, congratulations for your achievements." byulyi murmurs, "your single has been going all over the world, even if it's not a title track."

he looks at her, muttering. "you mean thanks to you."

"huh?"

he shook his head with a grin, murmuring. "have you been dating him well these days?"

byulyi was taken aback for a second, averting her eyes for a second before getting it back to him. "mm, going great." she crosses her arms, smiling once more. "we're getting into talks of marriage... don't know how i'd manage it." she cackles softly.
