drabble seven

drabble seven: sometimes feelings do get realized even in the last minute.

it's not even valentines.

but there's a sudden christmas ball being planned under Mnet for broadcast, so until then- every time there's a chance, idols were getting requests or giving out requests.

as if it's a prom date.

but early in the morning, someone.... someone was busy trying to create a heart shaped pink chocolate within' the help of tutorials on her phone. she'll never know why she's doing this, but she had someone particular in mind that she wanted to kind of ask to be her date.

but at the same time, she didn't want to make it seem as if she likes him (even if in reality, she does.), since they're close friends!

and as a worldwide handsome, he might've been accepting too many requests in the texts, and maybe even later at the orientation for the ball.

but moon byulyi... moon byulyi likes kim seokjin that's why she's trying to make a bribe for him to be her partner. 

and at some point in her mind, she might confess at the christmas ball when he turns out to be her partner.

but she thought: everyone will be her rival, and it's not her that will win. 

she's sure that there will be a lot of people hovering into him later, and she won't be able to face him anymore.

even if it's just to regain the bond that oddly faded at some point (maybe because of her feelings) or to confess her underlying crush.

it seems hard to get into him now.

and she was right as soon as the orientation finishes.

fast forward to the venue, everything she had been scared off finally had happened- or unfortunately.

looking at the amount of female idols giving him those packages one by one, byulyi could only stuck her tongue bitterly at the view. she knew that it's going to happen anyways, but she's kind of hopeful that this day won't be too packed for him.

if she's going to give him one, he would not even remember that she made one for him.

casually waving the chocolate package in her hands, she turned her direction away from him- trying to look cool while opening the package to herself.

she'll rather eat it than try to give one to him if it's going to end up to nothing.

settling herself in one corner of the waiting room, byulyi sighs softly. remembering how he's laughing too hard while around jisoo.

she scrunched her nose, now disgusted at her own idea of jealousy since she always hated the feeling of romance in her life, abandoning it for so long. now that she had the jealousy kicking in her stomach, her senses came back.

why would she give this chocolate?

she already had seen this coming.

she shouldn't have tried.

she shook her head, slamming the bar on her desk while her members were busy playing around outside. taking a look at her own made chocolate, she whispers. "i bet this won't even taste half good." she directly bit into her chocolate, the crunchy texture of her crushed almond somehow blended well to her surprise.

but if she's going to judge it, even if it tastes decent, it's nowhere near to his favorite almond chocolate.

twirling the almond in her tongue, byulyi laughs to herself. "what am i doing?" she leans her head on the desk, placing the bar of chocolate back down. yawning softly, she curses herself.
