drabble four

drabble four: never neglect your understanding girlfriend, or you'll suffer harder.

when he entered a relationship with byulyi, he knew he had a lot to do. 

the number one in the list would be holding back himself...

whenever...

well, you know it.

heavens above knew how conservative this woman is.

but oh, how wrong was he when that certain day came.

jin knows that byulyi wasn't a hell of a clingy woman, she rarely even shows her sulky face when they are busy. he's thankful for that. hence, he keeps wondering why some of his friends were having trouble with their girlfriends. or maybe he's just too lucky that byulyi understands too much,

or maybe she doesn't care?

nah, of course she does.

so there he was, in his apartment with her lying lazily, not feeling any ounce of guilt. he keeps on working! letting her do whatever she wants in his own house. it's been a year when they started dating, there's nothing to hide anymore! 

but he should've known how much she missed him after her constant questions about his work.

"jin-ah."

he heard her girlfriend mumble while on her phone, her legs lazily resting on the couch. "what is it?" he asks, eyes fixated on his desktop's screen, conversing with their staff. she then sat up, muttering. "you've been busy for a week..." she trails-off, letting her phone down on her lap. 

"ah." he replied shortly, twirling his chair to look at her. "we're almost done processing the background vocals, why?" 

"nothing, you're just scrunched for a week there." she replied softly, bouncing back on the couch while focusing back on her phone. "get some rest too, won't you?" she casually asks.

he smirks, muttering. "want to watch a movie after this?" 

she peeps from her phone to him, grinning. "alright."

but he shouldn't have asked it if he's going to be on his phone all night, waiting for his members' response. but there she was, resting her head on his chest while not wasting the movie. she keeps hearing the small typing noises in his phone.

"yah, i thought you wanted to watch this movie?" she whispers softly, looking up at him.

he blinks for moment to recollect his thoughts.

"sorry, bang-PD is pestering us." he apologizes, seeing the casual shrug from byulyi. chuckling, he gently kissed her lips, playfully smooching a sound as she laughs, pulling away. "you're too busy, i'm coming back next month..." she trails-off with a sigh.

she rarely complains about their time together.

does that mean that he's going overboard with his work? 

"i'll finish this in a few more days, i promise." he mumbled. "you've said that before." she concealed her mood with a giggle. "don't you think you're getting too overworked even in quarantine?"

"ah... you think so?" 

he's the most active in the group.

maybe he needs to lie... low?
