the king rolls off his bed, spotting namjoon safely arriving in the palace after a day or two, closing the doors, as his eyes went wide, whispering.

"is the second princess safe?"

namjoon silently reached a step closer near the king, handing him a letter. "she is in the hide-out of the min clan now, your highness." he whispers, as the king sighs in relief, grabbing the paper, opening it.

father, i am sorry for my sudden disappearance.

this is the only help i could ever give to prolong the absurdity, please do not be hurt, we have deployed twenty disguised guards to surround you and the royal family.

joohyun have informed me about the records of the jung clan, the security in her area needs to be grand.

the king sighs once more, whispering. "goodness, she is really a troublesome kid." he crumples the paper, nodding to himself. "i am glad that she is safe and sound, but it is getting worse in the palace." he murmured.

"what about it, your highness?" namjoon asks him, as the king frowns. "if the seal is stolen, more than fifty civilians are going to die, they are framed to be people committing treason against the palace." the king explains, as namjoon's eyes went wide.

"we need to secure the royal seal if the time comes, once the instructions have been sealed, it will be over." the king muttered, telling him. "i need you to gather some news in the jung clan, since i had heard that the government officials had also created a pact to lord kim's removal after his threat."

namjoon replied. "it is certain, your highness." he bows down, before murmuring. "i will wait for taehyung's arrival before i leave to ensure your safety."

the king thanked him, before looking around.

"where have you located what i had asked you to bring from the min clan?" he asks him, as namjoon murmurs.

"in the room, your highness."

the king nodded.

at the same time. the great grand queen could only sigh in defeat, slamming her hand in the table. "i can't believe that she outsmarted the guards deployed, she is still missing." she clicks her tongue, glaring over the empty scroll. "i should've never followed the ceremony, by now, we should've had power over kim seokjin's people."

"if the second princess never returns, i will be finding her by myself." hoseok announces, as the great grand queen murmurs. "it will be dangerous, i am certain that she has something up her sleeves." she rejected hoseok's offer, turning to him.

"i am afraid that kim seokjin had left her authority to control his people, and they had talked about that." the great grand queen squinted her eyes, before whispering. "what about jung wheein?"

hoseok replied.

"the book is returned by namjoon, you do not have to worry about that, we have retrieved the book while seokijn was on the woods." he explains, seeing her nod slowly.
