VD: Link x Reader

You were in your room sleeping early in the evening. Today, you spent the entire day participating in Trophy Rush. There would be wooden boxes falling on top of your head and you have to rupture the boxes. After you broke a lot of them, you would be rewarded with prizes that were once in the box.

Before you fell to sleep, you brought ten boxes that were filled with prizes to your room. You received help from a good friend of yours, Ike. You were holding four boxes, struggling a lot as you were walking. Awhile he was carrying six boxes, no problem for him, he was even running!

A few minutes after you got everything situated, you thanked Ike and told him he was a good friend. (Which he is by the way) After he said your welcome, and left the room. You closed your door and locked it. You got ready to go to sleep and threw yourself onto your queen-sized bed. You looked at the clock that was on your dresser and it said, 9:11P.M

You laid on your back, let out a yawn and clapped your hands twice. When that happened, the lights in the room, turn off by themselves. You pulled the blanket just below your chin, close your eyes and slowly drift to sleep...

You woke up ten minutes just before 10:00A.M You sat up and yawned once again. You got off your bed and started walking towards the bathroom, until there was a pink envelope that was right in front of your door. You picked it up and saw that the envelope was closed by a sticker, that was the shape of a heart.

The envelope smelled like a cool peppermint. You carefully opened the envelope, making sure to not tear it. You took out the paper that was nicely folded inside and opened it. The first thing you saw inside was a heart-shaped lollipop. You tried to take out the candy, but it was taped in, so you decided to save it for later. The next thing you noticed was cursive writing inside, you started reading it.

I usually don't write letters that much... But I need to tell you something, I might as well tell you right here and now, but I like you. You might wondering who is writing this, but if you want to find out, meet me in front of the mansion at 8:00 sharp tonight. And if you don't want to come or don't want to know, then I understand.

"Your beloved?" You thought to yourself and you felt your cheeks heating up. You never have been given a letter this sweet before. But who would give this letter to you? You shrugged, put the letter back into its envelope and put it on your dresser. After that, you had this strange feeling growing inside your chest, like if someone released a flock of birds. You eventually get over that weird feeling and started to get ready, meeting this unknown fighter in front of the mansion...

After having a regular day at Smash Mansion, it was five minutes until 8:00P.M That was the time when this mysterious person told you to meet up with him in front of the mansion. After you said good-bye to your friends, who were all with their Valentine's, you went back to your room and grabbed your (favorite color) jacket and the letter.You took your time putting it on, you weren't in a rush anyway.

Once you had the furry jacket on, you began walking to the front of the mansion. Everybody who you passed by, said hi or hello to you.You smiled at them and waved back.

After you finally reached your destination, you opened the doors and the first people who you saw was Ness, chasing butterflies, Captain Falcon, kicking a tree and Greninja, messing around with a water fountain. You wondered,"Are these one of the fighters, who are wanting me to meet them here?"

You stood there for a few seconds, thinking that one of those fighters, wanted you here, just for fun? Or for a purpose? But in the corner of your eye, you saw a another figure you didn't recognize. You turned your head and saw that it was the Hero of Time, Link. He was sitting on a bench staring at you, after he escaped his trance, he stood up and jogged over to you.

Once Link finally got up to you, he smiled and said,
"H-Hi (name!) How are you doing?"

You looked at him,
"Oh! Hello Link! I got this... letter yesterday and it told me to wait out here at 8'o clock. And I don't know who it's from"

You showed him the letter you received the day before and once he saw it, a friendly smile formed across his face,
"(N-Name), I was the one who sent you the letter... And told you to come out here"

"Wait, you gave me the letter?" You asked him with a confused tone. Link just nodded his head and grinned.
"Link, so your saying you.... Like me?"

He took a few more steps closer to you,
"Y-Yes I do, what about you?"

"But I-I thought you liked Zelda!" You completely ignored his question. Link shook his head,
"N-No no, she's just a... friend, that's all"

"But you saved her many times from Hyrule's enemies! She must like you by now!" You added. Link walked up closer to you,
"Look, I do like her ok? But-"

"Then why don't you tell her that? Please do not waste your time with me Link" You turned around and started to walk, but you felt two hands on both of your shoulders. Link forced you to turn back around.

"L-Link! Please don't let me stay here, you got better things to do rather than be here with me!" You tried to get away from him again, but he had a good grip on you,
"(N-Name), you didn't make me finish my sentence"

You stopped moving and looked at him,
"What is it?"

"Zelda is just a friend" You felt Link's hands hold your shoulder tighter,
"But... I love you (name)"

"Link! But you can't-" You felt him put his hand on your back and he pulled you closer to him. Now, you were right in front of his face,
"Link, what do you think-"

You didn't get the chance to finish what you were saying because Link put his lips onto yours. You were surprised at his sudden action, but you eventually sink into the kiss. Link was kissing you confidently and elegantly, making your cheeks heat up in the process. You enjoyed it so much, that you put your arms around his neck. But there was this thing called oxygen so you pulled back. Link still wanted to kiss your soft lips, but he knew that he had to pull back too. Now, you two were staring into each others eyes.

"Link, why you have to do that?" You asked him. He smiled at you.

"It's because I love you (name). The thought of you, brings a smile to my face" He grabs both of your hands,"I can't live without you, you had me ever since you said hello. I need you, I want you, I worship you, I respect you. You are one and only (name), so take me, because I'm yours, forever"

You felt your cheeks heating up like a oven and it was getting a bright pink.
"I-I love you too Link, you mean the world to me... And I'm sorry for what I said earlier" You looked at the ground but he lifted you head back up with his hand.

"It's ok (name), as long as I get to have you by my side... And be my Valentine" Link had a warm smile on. You nodded your head in agreement and you couldn't resist it but, you kissed him on the lips again....

Yes yes, I know Valentine's Day ended quite awhile ago. But I still have one more fighter to do. And unfortunately, that's when the VD specials are done. Anyway, I hope you readers enjoyed this one-shot! Thanks for reading!
