Rejected? Shulk x Reader (SSB One-Shots)

(Name) was waiting by someone's door. She liked the new comer ever since he was confirmed. His name was Shulk and he was from Xenoblade Chronicles. He had this huge red sword called the, Monado. This sword wields five special powers, Jump, Speed, Shield, Buster and Smash. Each skill has its own unique abilities.

(Name) was waiting for Shulk by his door, she had a red flower in her hand. Her plan was,
1: Have a good talk with Shulk.
2: Give him the flower.
3: Have fun!

And you know what I mean by 'have fun' Anyway, (name) was getting tried of standing up, so she sits on the bench. She waits for ten minutes until the door opens. (name) stands up and puts the red flower in the pocket of her jacket.

"H-Hey Shulk!" (name) waved at him. Shulk looked around before he saw (name)

"Oh! What's up (name?)" Shulk turned toward her.

"I-I just wanted to say hi"

"Oh... Well, how are you doing?"

"I-I'm doing great! What about you?"

Shulk smiles,
"I'm doing fantastic!"

"Huh, that's good"

Shulk looks at his watch,
"Well, I better get going (name). I'll see you around!"

"Wait!" (name) puts her hand on Shulk's shoulder. He turns around.
"Yes?"

(Name) removed her hand from his shoulder,
" *ahem* I-I want to tell you..."

"Yeah?" Shulk looks at (name)

"Ummm....I like you" Shulk's eyes open wide.

"W-What?"

"I like you Shulk...I-I mean I really like you! Whenever I see you, I get this strange feeling I never ever get and... I feel like it means something" (name) gives him the flower and he looks at it.

"I..." Shulk takes a deep breath, "I'm sorry (name)... but I can't" Shulk quickly walks off with the flower in his hand. She watched him as he went down the stairs. (name) put her hand on her chest. Her heart was beating hard.

"I....Shulk...." (Name) stared at where she last saw Shulk... She sat on the bench and her eyes started to get watery. (Name) looked at the floor and started crying.

"Shulk! But... I love you!" (name) cried more. She cried for a hour until she looked up. (name) didn't notice this but she saw a painting of Shulk on the wall. There was a gold plate under the painting labeled, "Shulk, the new comer, aka, Monado boy!"

(Name) smiled, but then she remembered what happened an hour ago. She stood up and ran to her room. Everybody she ran by, said "Hi" to her, but she ignored them. (name) finally reached her room, she opened the door and slammed it.

(Name) stayed in her room all day. She fell asleep and woke up the next morning. She got dressed and opened her door. (name) walked around, she looked at the floor. She slowly walked around Smash Mansion at least five times until Lucina saw her.

"(Name?) Are you ok?" Lucina put her hand on (name's) shoulder. She stopped walking and looked at Lucina. Lucina saw the sadness in her eyes, before she could say something, (name) started walking again. Lucina watched her as (name) opened her door and walked in.

"Lucina? Is everything alright?" Robin walked up.

"No.... I think (name) is suffering from a depression"

Robin's eyes got wide,
"What? But I always see her all happy and excited all the time!"

Lucina shook her head,
"Not this time..." Robin and Lucina walked to (name's) door and knocked,

"(Name?) Are you ok?" Lucina asked.

No response.

"(Name?) Are you ok? If you are, say yes!" Lucina knocked on her door, but louder this time. Still no response. Robin pushed Lucina out of the way and yelled,
"(Name!) Are you ok?! Please answer me!" Still no response. Everybody was surrounding Robin and Lucina.

Robin looked at (name's) door and tried to break it down. (Name) looked up, she was sitting against the wall, she walked up to the door and opened it. Everybody looked at the door, they saw (name)...

"(Name!)" Lucina hugged her.

"(Name?) What's going on with you?" Robin asked.

"I-It's nothing...." (name) looked at the floor and stopped hugging her.

Lucina shook her head,
"No, there's something wrong with you"

(Name) looked at Lucina, she started crying.

"My life is ruined!" (name) hugged Robin this time. He's surprised that (name) hugged him.

"I-It's ok (name)..." Robin patted her back. Shulk walked off and complained,
"This is all my fault!" Shulk ran back to his room. He didn't come out at all for the rest of the evening. Weeks later, (Name) kind of got over the incident, but she was still depressed. (Name) got weak at fighting, she didn't talk to her friends that much and whenever it was time to eat, instead of sitting by her friends, she would sit by herself. And when (name) would see Shulk in the hallway, cafeteria, game room, practice arena or anywhere. She would turn around and walk the other way.

(Name) was sitting in her room, staring at the ceiling. Every night she would think about Shulk, those last words he told her,
"I'm sorry (name)...but I can't..."

(Name) sat up, those words were still in her head, like she couldn't get it out. She slowly stood up and looked at her pillow. (name) grabbed her pillow and threw it across the room.

"Ahhhh!" (name) yelled as she threw it, the pillow hit the tv. She took at deep breath,
"Calm down (name)... calm down... You don't need Shulk, I can find someone else..."
(Name) needed some fresh air to get rid of those words... She walked to the back of the mansion and sat on the bench that was overlooking the lake.

(Name's) Mind:"What a beautiful sight..."

She stopped looking at the lake and stared at the ground,
"Only if Shulk was here..." (Name) felt like she was going to cry again, until she felt a warm hand on her shoulder. (name) quickly turned around and saw the Monado boy. She watched him as he walked in front of her.
"Shulk! What are you doin-"

She was cut short because her love put his lips on hers. (name) always wanted to kiss Shulk. He pushed back and (name) leaned her back on the bench. They kissed for a minute until Shulk pulled back, leaving (name) more.... happier.

"I'm so sorry (name)... I shouldn't have said those words to you..." Shulk told (name) in a sweet voice. She felt herself feeling more better than before,
"Shulk..."

"I-It's ok (name)... This is all my fault and I'm sorry... I'm so sorry!" Shulk put his hand out and helped (name) stand up. He hugged her.
"I'm so sorry (name!) I really am! I made you do worse in battle, I made you sad... I made you get depressed... I just didn't feel right after I denied you..." Shulk stopped hugging (name), he was holding both of her hands,
"I love you (name)... I always did... I have no idea why I would ever say no to a beautiful girl like you..."

(Name) felt like she was going to explode with happiness,
"I love you more Shulk! Why did you make me suffer through this?"

"I don't know and I do not want to know, but I'm happy your here with me... I love you (name)"

"I love you more Shulk" (name's) face got closer to Shulk's face. Then, they kissed each other again, but more lovey and sweet. Shulk put his arms around (name's) waist and she put her arms around Shulk's neck. They pulled back after three minutes and they went back inside the mansion, hand-in-hand....
