Photographer - Ness x Reader

You were standing outside with some of your best friends talking about unimportant stuff. Until you heard footsteps running towards you, only to see that Ness ran up to you and said,"Hey (Name!) I know you like traveling a lot... So would you like help me out with taking pictures?"

You thought about it for a few seconds, thinking that it would take most of your time, but you nodded your head and accepted his offer. "Sure Ness, I'm willing out to help in anyway I can."

"Awesome!!" He yelled excitedly and unexpectedly, he hugged you, saying,"Thank you (Name!!) I'll see you first thing tomorrow afternoon!"

You smiled and hugged him back. "Alright then, I look forward to it."

He pulled back and showed you a friendly smile before running off to do his own thing. You smiled and looked at where you last saw him, thinking that this probably wouldn't be that bad.

You were already waiting for Ness by the main entrance into Smash Mansion, watching all of the commotion that was happening. Most of the fighters were casually walking around like normal and some of the goofballs were making a huge ruckus. Accidentally dropping fancy nicknacks and making some of the fighters pretty mad.

Honestly it was getting quite enjoyable until Ness jumped in front of you. "Hi (Name!) Are you ready to go?!"

You flinched at his sudden appearance. "Geez Ness, you scared the living daylights outta me! But yeah, I'm ready when you are."

"Cool!! Because look at what I've got!" You turned your attention towards him and saw that he was holding a bright red camera.

"This is what we are going to use for our little journey today!" He shoved the camera in your face, making you move back a little.

"That's... great Ness." You told him,"So, where are we going first?"

"OH!" He put the camera in his pocket and pulled out a map,"Let's see... We are going to the waterfall nearby, I mean right here!" He pointed to a certain part of the map,"And it's just like... a hour long drive over there."

"Okay!" You looked around,"...Should we pack up some water and food for this trip?"

He laughed lightly and put the map in his back pocket. "I already got the stuff silly! Besides, it's all packed up in my backpack!" Before you got to say something, he grabbed your hand and yelled,"Come on (Name!) We're wasting time standing here! Let's go!!"

"Alrig-" You didn't get to finish what you were saying because he forced you to start running. Both of you ran over to the garage and Ness jumped into the passenger seat, awhile you took the wheel. He showed you were to drive to, and once you both were ready to go, you began the little trip. And Ness looked like he was very excited...

"Okay, I think we're here..." You said, looking out the window and seeing nothing but a bright green forest, with a gravel pathway cutting right though it. He didn't respond or anything, you just heard the car door open and slam close.

"....Ness?..." You looked around in confusion. With Ness leaving you alone like this, you didn't like it, not even one bit. But as each second passed, you felt yourself become more suspenseful, and more aware of your surroundings.

But that stopped, when you finally spotted Ness already walking along the gravel pathway. You got out of your car and locked it, running up to him and walking alongside him.

"Ness! Why'd you leave me behind like that?"

He only looked at you innocently, a smile forming across his lips. "Sorry (Name), I just got a adrenaline rush!" He yelled, clutching his hands into a fist, and started jumping up and down excitedly.

"Woah! Easy there! Calm down! N-Ness!" You placed your hands on top of his shoulders and tried to prevent him from fanboying so much. Eventually, he did stop and you both continued to walk along with gravel pathway.

"So.... do you know how far away we are?" You asked, slowly becoming impatient. The trip was getting tedious...

"Ummmm... we are..." He pulled out his map. "Actually, the waterfall should be somewhere around here..."

You both searched around the area, you looked behind trees and bushes, just in case it was secretly located somewhere. Until you heard Ness call your name, and when you went over to where he was at, it was probably the most beautiful thing you've ever seen.

Not one, but two tall mountains stood before you, one located on the left and the other on the right. Some fluffy white clouds covered up most of the top, so you couldn't see it. But with the two mountains merged together, a tall cliffside was located in the middle of it, where the waterfall also took place. You could already smell the fresh scent of the water, and you saw some of the wildlife drinking the water down below. And to finish it off, the yellow setting sun was shining in the middle of it all.

"Oh my goodness... Ness... t-this is beautiful!" You exclaimed, still admiring the pretty scenery.

"Hot damn! This place is better than I expected it to be!" He laughed, pulled out his camera, and took a picture. Curiously, you took a quick glance downhill, and saw that it was a long drop down. But when you thought you were both done, you saw Ness shook his head, and show a small frown.

"Man... this picture is missing something..." He muttered, but you heard him just fine.
"..What's wrong with it Ness?"

He looked up at you, showing off another cute smile of his. "Look, the picture is great itself, don't get me wrong. But I think it'll be more beautiful with you in it."

You blushed madly, you didn't think you heard him correctly, but nevertheless, you heard him clearly. Then a long silence took place, Ness was scrolling through the photos on his camera, and you felt your cheeks heat up. Gradually turning pink.

"(Name?) Do you think I can take a picture of you?" He asked, interrupting your thoughts.

"Hm? Oh um, of course Ness." You stood a few feet away from the cliffside you both were standing on. He held up the red camera, and motioned you that he was ready to take a photo. When he did, he showed you the picture wasn't that fancy or anything, it was just a normal picture.

"So, shall we start making our way back?" You asked, taking a last look at the beautiful scenery.

"Yeah, we should." He said. "But don't you think we should come back here someday? We can probably play around at the waterfall or something... Oh! And I can bring my swimsuit too!"

You laughed, and nodded your head in approval. "Okay, that sounds like a plan."

You both started walking, until he asked,"(Name?) Can you be my new assistant?"

You thought about it for a few seconds, but hey, why not? "Yeah I can Ness, I'd love to."

"Cool!!" He walked over to you and gave you a quick peck on the cheek. "Well, I'm going to go start the car! I have the backup keys!"

And just like that, you watched Ness run along the gravel pathway and disappear. You touched your warm cheek were he had pecked you, and you started thinking about a lot of things. Until a car horn honked, and you snapped out of you thoughts, running over to the car. Where you drove Ness and you home again.
