"On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer."
~ Satoru Iwata

I know most of you guys heard the news already, but the CEO and president of Nintendo, has passed away from bile duct cancer.

It's shocking to hear that he passed away, it just happened so suddenly, it came out of nowhere.

But I know that Mr. Satoru Iwata was a huge part of Nintendo, helping shape the many lives of gamers. Developing the famous games Kirby, Pokèmon, Super Smash Bros. and many other games out there. He was a big part of my life, actually making me into what I am proud to be, a gamer.

I knew him since SSBM and I loved him ever since then. I would always notice my mood lighten up whenever I saw him doing a Nintendo Direct or see him at E3 or even see a picture of him.

He was a huge part of my childhood, or in all of our childhood, he created the games that you love today, maybe even still play today.

I just hope and pray that Nintendo can go through this tragic moment in life, I know, it's sad, and I know another one of my depressions will kick in soon.

When I hear the news, I just started crying out of nowhere, I felt empty and loss for words. I couldn't think straight and I felt like I couldn't feel happy again.

But I knew who he was, I know what he did, and I knew he was a great man. He has made such a huge impact on all of our lives, and without him, these amazing games wouldn't have been made.

Thank you Mr. Satoru Iwata, for all you have done for Nintendo and us. Everything you did help shaped Nintendo into what it is now, and we all greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much and please, rest in peace in Heaven.
