I Will Protect You Forever - Link x Reader (SSB One-Shots)

(Name) looked out the window, she was planning on taking a walk. After looking out the window for about three minutes, (name) walked to the door. She opened the doors, a cool breeze blew on her face, the setting sun shined on her eyes and the beautiful view caught her attention. (name) walked outside and took a deep breath.

"Mmm... I love the smell of the evening air floating around everywhere" (name) smiled. She closed the doors behind her and began walking to the River Walk. You can go to this place if you need to take a break or relax. (name) always loved walking over there, she would go there at least two times a week. She quickly walked to the entrance of the River Walk and she stopped in front of the entrance. (name) looked at her watch, 8:43P.M

"Oh! I better get going!" (name) told herself and began walking. When she was enjoying the journey, (name) looked at the flowing river, the water was crystal clear and you could hear the river. The sound made you feel calm and relive your stress. (name) stopped walking and went over to the riverbank. She put her hand into the water, the water was ice cold.
"Woah! Now that's cold water!"

(Name) heard the bushes brushing against each other. She quickly turned around.... There was nobody there... (name) stood up and continued walking along the trail. She was wondering was that sound was... (name) didn't know if it was a animal, a monster or hopefully, not a person. Ten minutes later, she turns back around and looks at her watch, 9:35P.M

"I better return to Smash Mansion, you never know what could happen to you out here" (name) told herself and she walked back to the mansion. It was getting close to being dark, or should I say, it was dark. (name) remembers what happened to some of the fighters, who were unexpectedly attacked by a monster. (name) felt chills going up her spine, now she was running. She ran throughout the forest, (where the River Bank was located) (name) saw the entrance she entered forty minutes ago. She felt more comfortable, so she stopped running and (name) started walking. She stopped on again to hear the bushes moving, (name) turned around and stared at the bushes. Suddenly, a Moblin jumped out of nowhere and stood in front of (name) She didn't have her weapon on her,
"Just great... The one time I don't bring my sword, a monster comes in and attacks me"

(Name) looked at the Moblin's sword, it was a diamond sword. One if the strongest types of materials a sword can be made out of. (name) turned around and she bumped into another Moblin. There was two ugly monsters surrounding her, she knew if she ran away, they would chase after her.
"Aww great! I need help! Someone! Please!"

(Name) yelled out and she hoped that someone heard her.
"Someone! Help me! I need help!"
(Name) kept yelling and there was nobody there to save her. The Moblin's were coming closer and closer as (name) was yelling. The monsters finally reached closer to her, where their swords can hit her. (name) fell onto the floor and braced for impact. Until she heard someone yell,
"Ayyye Awww!"

(Name) put her arms above her eyes and closed them. She heard a sword slashing the Moblins. After the sound stopped, (name) opened her eyes and saw a green figure.
"....L-Link?...Is that you?"

(Name) saw the green figure put the sword away,
"Yeah, it's me, Link"

(Name) eyes open wide,
"Y-You saved me!"

Link smiles,
"I know I did... Here... Let me help you up" He puts his hand out and (name) reaches for his hand. Link helps her get up and pats her on the back.
"There we go... Like nothing happened..."

(Name) looks at the Hyrule Warrior,
"Link, thanks for saving me! I-I don't know how to ever repay you"

Link lets go of (name's) hand,
"I know how you can repay me"

"What is it Link?" (name) looked at him again and he smiled,
"Like this (name)"

"What do you mean-" (name) didn't get to finish her sentence because Link put his lips on (name's) Her eyes go wide open, but she slowly closes them. Link puts his hand on (name's) left shoulder. A minute later, Link pulls back. (name) looked at him and his face was pink.
"(Name?)" Link holds both of her hands.
"I love you (name) I always did... I-I was just too afraid to admit it to you... Your face is beautiful, I love your personality, I love every single thing about you... That's why I want you to be my girl friend..."

Link smiles, he was waiting for an answer. (name) jaw dropped to the floor,
"I-I...I accept Link... I accept you"

Link smiles again,
"I knew you would say that to your hero"

(Name) blushes,
"W-Well... You did save me..."

"I did (name)... Promise me you won't walk late again..."

(Name) smiles,
"Ok, I promise you"

"That's my girl... But when you want to go on a walk, I'll always go with you... I will protect you forever"

"Thanks Link... I love you"

Link smiles,
"I love you too"

Then they start kissing again...
