'...I think I'm just going to see my friends...' You told yourself as you began walking towards one of the sofas in the corner of the room. These friends of your was Link, Zelda, Dark Pit and Bayonetta, and they were all talking to each other, until they noticed you in the corner of their eye.

"Oh, greetings (Name)." Bayonetta said with wher luscious accent kicking in. "How are you doing tonight?"

"I'm doing good." You replied, a smile forming across your face. "What about everybody else? Are you all doing alright?"

"Yeah, I'm just really tired." Zelda said before yawning and stretching. "I think I might go to bed soon."

"Wow, so you're just going to ditch us? Just so you can go to sleep?... How pathetic can you get today?" Dark Pit muttered harshly, before Bayonetta slapped the side of his arm.

"Show some respect you witless angel! I think Pit might have more matters than you."

"He DOES for crying out loud." Dark Pit retorted, rubbing his arm. "I'm the opposite of him, what did you expect?"

"I expected you to be just as nice, not acting like a little bitc-"

"Anyways," You sat down in the middle of them, and clung your arms around the top of their shoulders. "so what do you think of the party?"

"I think it's splendid." Bayonetta answered. "Just look at those strobing lights flashing everywhere, they look absolutely magnificent! Fabulous even."

"...This party blows." Dark Pit muttered, crossing his arms. "There's really nothing to do."

"What are you talking about?" Bayonetta asked sternly, glaring daggers at him. "There's plenty to do around here! Quit making up such excuses."

"Oh, I'm so sorry." Dark Pit said abruptly, placing his hand on his chest. "I'm so so SO sorry Ms. Cereza."

"Don't you dare call me by my real name you half-witted fool!" Bayonetta barked, giving him a dirty look. "Do not call me that again, or I'll make sure you regret every single choice you made to this very day..."

"Well damn. That escalated quickly." Dark Pit murmured under his breath. You just face-palmed to yourself, letting out a loud sigh.

"Whatever... but hey, Zelda? Can you-" When you looked at her, she was sprawled out on the soft cushion, sleeping soundly. On the table, there was three cups of empty beer bottles. And you realized why she was tired.

"My gods..." You muttered. "...I swear, people just go crazy with booze."

"...I actually agree with you (Name)." Dark Pit said, pointing at a couple of people slumped on the ground. "Just look at them... those idiots are hungover too!"

"Geez... but hey, I saw Link when I came over here. Where did he go off to?"

Dark Pit just shrugged. "I don't know, don't ask me."

"Oh (Name). I know where Link went." Bayonetta mentioned, and you raised your eyebrow in wonderment. "He told me and Zelda that he was going off to a adventure, right at midnight."

"Wait... you mean right now!?"

"Uh huh, so you best be on your way, if you want to say goodbye to him." Bayonetta suggested, and laughed lightly afterward. You jumped out of your seat and dashed out the gym. Leaving both of them behind.

"...Well, someone's desperate to say a little goodbye." Dark Pit stated, making Bayonetta smirk mischievously.

"Mm mhm."

When you finally bursted out of the entrance, it was raining hard outside. Dark gray storm clouds roamed the sky, awhile you were slowly getting soaking wet. And the hardcore electronic music was still somehow still audible. But that wasn't on your mind at the moment, instead, you needed to find Link.

He would always go off onto a new adventure, and not return for a month or two. Which made everybody worry for him, including you. Thankfully, he didn't leave yet. You saw him standing by his horse, packing up some vital supplies for the long journey ahead of him.

"Link!" You ran up to him, almost slipping on the wet mud. "Where are you going again?"

He looked at you for a few seconds, before he went back to packing his stuff. "...I'm going to go complete a quest. I have to or else that will be fuel leading up to a overall war."

"...Wow, it's that important?"

"Yeah, I can't stay this time. Neither will I next time." He informed you, making you frown morosely.

"Oh... I understand now. I just..." You stared downward sorrowfully. "...I-I just don't get to see you that much anymore... I miss you when you're gone."

That was probably the closest way you admitted your love for him. He only smiled, and gave you a quick peck on the cheek, making you blush furiously.

"Don't worry (Name). I'll come back safe and sound."

"...Will you?" You asked, because you weren't fully satisfied yet.

"....I promise. I'll promise you."

You walked up to him and shyly embraced him into a tight hug. He blushed to himself, and pulled you closer, gently stroking your hair. Before he pulled back, and climbed onto his horse.

"...I better get going (Name)." He said, pulling on his hood over his head. "...And if I don't come back, just know that I love you, okay?"

You just nodded at your consent, before he kicked the sides of his horse, and left the area. You just smiled, and watched him ride around a corner.

Their goes my hero, off to save the world...
Once again...
