The days at Smash Mansion were always tedious and boring. Practicing everyday was getting really exhausting, you were only able to get five hours of sleep a night. Sure, a couple of hours of sleep was good enough to keep your system awake and functioning well. But it affected your mood and behavior much more than you think it would.

For a month now, you have been waking up in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. Sometimes you would tell yourself that it was normal, and it would eventually go away. But it never did. Instead, waking up in the middle of the night became habit. You couldn't find a way to get out of it. You were thinking that you had insomnia, the ability of not being able to fall, or stay asleep. At least, that's what Dr. Mario told you last time you scheduled a appointment with him. And tonight, it happened once again. You woke up right at midnight, only to noticed that everybody else was asleep.

'Maybe if I walk around... I should get tried?...' You told yourself, and followed your own command, slowly getting out of bed and walking around in circles. With each step gradually getting faster. Five minutes later, you felt yourself not getting tired at all, not even any form of sweat, or feeling of exhaustion came.

'...I should take a little walk down the hallways...' You thought about about this decision for awhile, would it make you tired? Or would it wake up somebody else? The only way to find out was to try it out.

You opened your door and looked down both hallways, nothing but silence and darkness was taking place. You quietly closed the door behind you, not locking it because you needed to return back after your short walk. At first, it really wasn't worth it to pace the hallway back and forth, since you would probably wake somebody up. But at the same time, something inside you was practically begging you to walk around. If you walked out here, you should do it, just very quietly.

The first few steps you took, were silent and fast, but as you increased your speed, the wooden floor of the mansion started creaking. Which immediately stopped you in your tracks, and once again, you didn't feel tired or anything. You were thinking that this plan of yours was going to be successful, but it turns out, it wasn't, not at all.

After another three minutes of standing in the middle of the hallway, and thinking about other solutions to your sleeping problem. There was one idea that suddenly popped up, maybe drinking a cup of fresh milk would help. Smiling at your 'brilliant' idea, you started making your way to the kitchen of the mansion. Making sure that each step you took, was quiet enough to not wake anybody up.

Once your reached your destination, you opened the fridge and gently took out the milk carton. With a glass cup already in your hand, you slowly poured out the cold liquid from its container, filling it up to the brim of the cup. You put away the carton and drank some of the milk. The cool, refreshing drink satisfied your needs as you made your way back to the room. But then you heard something awfully unfamiliar coming from the hallway you were currently walking down.

The moderate sounds of anguished weeping, and sobbing came from one of the rooms. You didn't want to find out who was making these sounds, but if you did, perhaps you can help them out with whatever problem they're dealing with. You began walking over to the doors, and listening for the mysterious noise. As each door led closer and closer to the sound, you finally found it. You didn't know who's door you were standing in front of, but with little confidence, you knocked on the door and waited for someone to show up.

The crying noise immediately stopped, and you felt uncomfortable with interrupting their sorrowful moment. You heard footsteps coming towards the door, and each one made you want to runaway, and pretend you never were here in the first place. But you held your ground, and the door opened only a few inches.
