Training Partner - Shulk x Reader (SSB One-Shots)

Fantastic... It's training day...

You told yourself as you were getting ready. You didn't like training days at all, they were boring... All you got to do was just train, train, train for seven hours straight... Without taking any breaks.

You grabbed your (favorite color) sword and began walking to the practicing arena. Once you walked in... You saw that everybody had a partner,
"Oh Gods... I'm late... Again..."

Master Hand looked at you,
"(Name)... Your late again"

"I know"

"When are you ever going to come in on time?" Master Hand gave you a serious look,
"I don't know... I just don't like training days..."

"Well... This is the tenth time you have been late this month... Get yourself together (name).... There's no reason why you should be coming in late..." Master Hand told you,
"We are training with partners today..."

Master Hand turns around and looks at the fighters... It seems that everyone what paired with somebody... He turns back around and looks at you again,
"You are going to have to train with me today (name)..."

Your eyes go wide open,
"What? Why?"

'Because everyone in this room has a partner..."

You wanted to punch Master Hand on the face, but if you were to do that, you would be punished...
"Fine..."

Master Hand smiled,
"Good... I thought I would have to-"

"I'm sorry I'm late!" Everybody looked at the entrance, to see the Monado boy.
"Shulk! Your late!" Master Hand complained, Shulk shook his head,
"I know, I know, I just overslept!"

Master Hand smiled,
"Never mind (name)... You are going partner up with Shulk instead.."

Your eyes go wide open, you would have rather trained with Master Hand instead of Shulk!
"W-What? I would prefer to train with you Master Hand"

He shook his head,
"No (name)... You are training with Shulk! No matter if you like it or not!"

Before you could say something again, he walked off. Leaving you and Shulk...
"So... What do you want to practice?"

You signed and didn't answer his question.
"(Name?) What do you want to practice?" He asked, with a worried look on his face.
"Our side attacks...." You walked to a practicing area, answering his question, without looking at him. Shulk frowned and ran after you.

"Ok! I need everybody to form a neat, single file line in front of me!" Master Hand told everybody. They do what he commands.

Great.... We are getting practicing rooms this time..

You shake your head. Shulk lines up behind you and looks over your shoulder,
"Aww man! We're getting rooms..."

"Yeah we are.."

Shulk stops looking over your shoulder and signs. After he signed, you did that too. A few minutes later, Master Hand tells you that the practicing room number is six-teen. You grab the keys from his hand and walk off. And Shulk followed you. You open the door and see that the room had two sandbags, a machine that gives you a water bottle, a bench and a bed?...

When did they add a bed?

You shrug and throw the keys on the bench. And then you walk up to a sandbag and pull out your (favorite color) sword. You hit the sandbag and it flys across the room. Shulk says,
"Not bad..."

You walk over to the sandbag, pick it up and stand it up. Again, you slash the sandbag and it flys across the room again.
"Your pretty good (name).."

You felt you face heating up as you walk over to the sandbag and stand it up.
"Huh, your a quiet one..."

"I am a quiet one..." You finally spoke. Shulk walked over to the other sandbag and pulls out his Monado Sword. He goes to the power, Speed and begins hitting the sandbag as fast as he could. You were going to slash the sandbag again, but you got distracted by Shulk, who was moving with amazing speed. Two minutes later, his Speed runs out and he looks at you. You quickly look the other way and start hitting the sandbag. In the corner of your eye, you saw Shulk smiling. You tried your best to not look at him or mess up on doing your attacks. Shulk goes back to practicing and you let out a sign of relief....

A couple of hours have passed and Master Hand told everybody that they are done practicing for the day... You somehow survived practicing day... You gave Master Hand his keys back and walk to your room. As you were walking, you felt like someone was following you.. You turn around and see... the Monado boy!

"S-Shulk!? Why are you following me?" You ask, his face gets pink and he slowly walks toward you.
"S-Shulk? I-I don't feel right... You are making me... Not feel right..."

"I-I can make you feel right all the time (name).." Shulk was now in front of you.
"W-What do you mean S-Shulk?"

He takes a few more steps, you back up and your back hits the wall. Shulk smiles,
"(Name)... You don't have to act this way"

"W-What?" You asked, confused. Shulk takes a few more steps and was really in front if you.
"S-Shulk?"

"Yes (name?)"

"I-I don't know about-" You stop talking because Shulk's face was inches away from yours. You were about to say something until, Shulk put his soft lips on yours. You resisted it at first, but then you push back with pleasure. As you two were kissing, you thought that Shulk's lips tasted pretty good. He thought that too... After three minutes, Shulk pulls back, with his face pink...
"I-I love you (name)... I really do"

You feel your face heating up,
"I-I love you too Shulk... Even more..."

He starts blushing,
"I know you do"

Shulk pushes you against the wall and starts kissing you again... It's seems like he wasn't a bad training partner after all...
