It's Been Awhile - Roy x Reader (SSB One-Shots)

(Name) was heading over to the cafeteria to eat breakfast. It felt like she hasn't ate in weeks, even months! But really, she didn't eat for a day. (name) was part of the Fire Emblem crew, because she was from that game. Everybody who she walked by, she said hi to them or waved at them. Once she reached her destination, she saw her friends, Lucina, Ike, Marth, Robin and... some other sword fighter that had a reddish and orange hair. He looked like he had Marth's clothes... (name) made a weird look and walked closer to this unknown sword fighter...

(Name's) Mind:"Did a new fighter get confirmed? Or?... Wait..."

"That's Roy!" (name) told herself. Thankfully, she didn't yell it out loud.

(Name) hasn't seen Roy in about... Seven years! Ever since he was cut from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, she didn't know what happened to him or where he was at. (name) had a crush on Roy...

(Name) saw Marth point at her, she was about to turn around and walk away, until she heard someone yell,
"(Name!) Is that you!?"

She twitched when she heard Roy's voice. She cringed.

(Name's) Mind:"Just great..."

(Name) took a deep breath and slowly turned around. She saw Roy running towards her,
"(Name!)" Roy hugged her and she hugged back. She saw Marth, Lucina, Ike and Robin walking up. They all smiled at her. (name) felt like she was getting crushed by Roy.

"Roy... You can stop now..." (name) patted his back. He listened to her and did what she told him to do,
"(Name)... It's been awhile!" Roy kneeled down. (name) smiled.

"Y-Yeah it has been a... l-long time!" (name) was still smiling. Roy looked at her, grabbed her left hand and kissed it. Marth tried his best not to laugh, Lucina smiled, Robin and Ike just stood there. After what seemed like forever, Roy stopped kissing (name's) hand. He stood up and her face was probably red as a cherry. Roy looked at (name) and he hugged her again.

"(Name), I missed you so much! As I said, it's been awhile!" Roy squeezed (name) tighter. She felt like she was going to pop! Roy was still hugging (name) until Marth cleared his throat.

*ahem*

Roy quickly stopped hugging (name) and turned around.
"My apologizes! I-It's nothing! It's completely nothing!" Marth eye's go wide open. Roy realized that when he was apologizing, he made it worse. Lucina elbowed Robin on his ribs, Robin looked at Lucina, she giggled. Ike didn't have a reaction. After everybody was staring at Roy, he said,
"W-Why don't we all go sit at a table?"

Roy quickly walked over to the nearest table and sat down. Lucina, Robin, Ike, Marth and (name) followed him. They all sat down on a chair.

"So... How has it been Roy?" Robin asked him.
"It's been... really good!"

Marth looked at him,
"You wished you were confirmed, don't you Roy?"

Roy shook his head,
"No no no no... I-It's fine!"

"Well, it doesn't look like you 'fine' with it" Marth smiled. Roy gave him a 'Please shut up!' face. Ike elbowed Marth on his side.

"Anyway, Roy? Do you-"

"Like (name?)" Marth blurted in. Everybody looks at him except (name), she looked the other way and started blushing.

"Marth!" Lucina yelled at him.

"What? I'm being honest!" Marth answered and he smiled. Lucina signed and asked,
"Do you like me?"

Roy's eyes go wide, Ike and Marth start laughing, (name) looks back and Robin spits out his drink,
"What?! I thought you liked me!" Robin stood up and Lucina started laughing,
"I'm just joking! Can't I have some fun with my tactation magician?"

Robin sat back down and signed,
"I guess..."

" *ahem!* Anyway! Roy? Do you like being here at Smash Mansion?... As a visitor?" Ike asked. Roy face-palmed,
"You guys like messing with me, don't you?"

Robin, Lucina, Ike and Marth shook their heads. (name) just smiled.

"Anyway, it's about to turn 7:00! Me and Lucina are going on a date!" Robin and Lucina stood up.

"Taking it to the next level!" Ike yelled. Lucina's and Robin's face got pink,
"I-I-I g-guess..," Robin said nervously. Lucina grabbed Robin's hand, she said,
"See you guys later!"

"Y-Yeah! B-Bye!" Robin and Lucina walked out of the cafeteria. Ike, Marth and Roy stood up,
"Well, we are going to go practice! Care to join us (name?)"

Roy put his hand out in front of (name),
"S-Sure! I will!" (Name) grabbed Roy's hand and he helped her get up. She felt the warmness in Roy's hand.

"Alright!" Ike yelled. (name) jumped up and she let her hand go away from Roy's. He gave Ike and Marth a mean look and they all walked to the practicing arena.

4 minutes later:

"Ok! We are here!" Marth told everybody. He pulled out his Falchion and stabbed a sandbag. Ike swung out his Ragnell. Roy just unleashed his special attack with his sword, the Binding Blade. (Name) just stared at Roy.

"Ok, let's practice our up attacks!" Ike yelled. Marth nods his head.
"I'm just going to do it fun" Roy told them.
"(Name?) Do you agree?" Marth asked. She snapped out of what she was thinking of and answers,
"Y-Yeah, I will"

4 hours later:

"Ok, that's enough practicing for today" Marth put his sword away. Ike and (name) did that too.

"Alright, I'm going to bed, night" Ike walked off. They said good night to him and they watched as he walked around the corner. Marth walked to the door,
"Good night guys"

(Name) and Roy watched him disappear around the corner. Roy looks at (name),
"Umm... W-What are you going to do?"

"I-I don't know..." (name) looks at the last place she saw Marth.

"You don't know what to do?" Roy asked. (name) shrugs.
"Because I know what we can do"

(Name) looks at Roy,
"What do you-"

(Name) didn't notice but Roy's face was right in front of hers. And when (name) least expected it, Roy kissed (name) on the cheeks, which caused her to start blushing and her face was getting pink. But that wasn't it, Roy slowly moves up and kisses (name) on her lips. (name's) eyes go wide open, but then she closes them. Roy drops his Sword of Seals and puts his arms around (name's) waist. She put her left arm around Roy's neck. After three minutes, (name) pulls back and Roy still wanted to do it, but he moves his face back.

Roy looks at (name's) eyes,
"I wanted to tell you this seven years ago, but I love you (name). I always did and I always will"

(Name) smiles,
"I have to admit, I had a crush on you ever since I saw you Roy... And I love you too"

Roy's face gets pink,
"Whenever I see you, I get a really... different feeling in my chest... And I was thinking that this feeling was... Love"

"It's because it is Roy"

Roy smiles,
"I-I know it is..."

"Exactly" (name's) face moves closer to Roy's face and she kisses him this time. It started out all sweet and warm. (name) puts her arms around Roy's neck and he puts his arms around her waist. Four minutes later, they pull back.

"I love you Roy"

"But I love you more (name)" Roy grins. (name) blushing and feels her face heating up like a oven. Then they kiss each other again...

Wow! I really enjoyed writing this one! And yes, I decided to do Roy, even tho he's not in Super Smash Bros. anymore... *makes a sad face* Anyway, just in case you haven't heard, I was very very busy with school lately.
