'I... I-I can do this...'

'Can it be really that hard?'

'Come on, it's suppose to be easy...'

'Just... remain calm...'

You directly stared at one of Shulk's teammates, Dunban, across the room, fiddling your thumbs in utter nervousness. Everything about him, you absolutely adored. Even though he appeared in Shulk's final smash for a few seconds, it was enough to sent you off into a flustered mess.

"Oi, (Name?) Are you catchin' a cold? Cuz yer face is gettin' a bit red." Your best friend Reyn, was waving his hand in front of your light pink face. It took you a few seconds to realize he was doing that.

"Hm? Oh... um, y-yes Reyn... I-I'm fine." You reassured him, obviously hiding yet another lie.

"You're sure? Cuz I don't think so..." He scoffed. Then he sat in a certain position next to you, trying to figure out what you were staring at. "...Hehe, are you starin' at Dunban?"

"What?!" You averted your sight away from Dunban and Reyn, staring downhill. "N-No! Why would you even think that?"

"Hm, cuz I just saw you do it."

"B-But that doesn't mean anything!"

"Oh yeah, it sure does (Name)." He smirked mischievously. You just rolled your eyes in annoyance, wishing that you didn't sit with him in the first place. "I-I was looking in the wrong direction."

"Looking in the wrong direction?" He repeated and crossed his arms. "That's the most lousiest excuse I've heard from you. Now, what's the real reason?" He asked, toning up his voice slightly.

Instead of you answering him like you were suppose to, you just reigned him with a long silence. Continuing to stare downward, you just closed your eyes, trying to block out any source of communication. Until you hear someone else sit right next to you. You didn't mind it at first, but eventually it started to bother you. So you looked up, but immediately regretted it the second you did.

You saw Dunban, with a concern expression written all over his face.

"(Name?)... Are you alright?" He asked, beginning to get worried. You just felt yourself blush badly, but you tried to hide it. "...Y-Yes Dunban, I-I'm fine..."

"..It doesn't sound like it to me." He said, still holding his steady gaze towards you. "Come on, just spit it out. Please tell me what's bothering you. And I want an honest answer from you."

You just sighed, how were you suppose to tell him about your true feelings towards him? You were thinking that he was going to reject you if you did, but there was a small ray of hope that he was going to accept you. But again, who really knows.

"...I-I don't want do talk about it." You mumbled, crossing your arms awhile looking away from him. He only frowned, and tried reassuring you again. "(Name), it's alright. Just tell me, please."

"N-No, I don't want to."

"But (Name)..." He tried convicting you by talking in a bit of a whiney matter. "I want to know why you're acting like this. It's... strange seeing you act this way. It really is."

"...I-I know it is." You said. "But still, I'm not telling you, or anyone."

"Are you sure about that?" He asked, scooting closer towards you. "I have a way to make you confess whatever you're hiding."

You looked at him, raising a eyebrow in confusion. "...A-And how do you purpose to exactly?"

You saw his lips turn into a smirk, in which you never saw him perform. Usually, he was typically the one who had the stern, yet polite matter most of the time. It was quite strange seeing him act this way...
