Party Time! - Pit x Reader

'...Honestly... I feel like dancing...' You admitted to yourself, walking towards the large crowd of people dancing to the music. Immediately, you were pulled into the lively crowd, the fighters bumping against you and laughing like no tomorrow.

All of this positive energy surrounding you made you smile, laugh, and be filled with nothing but with the amazing emotion, happiness. As with all of the other characters too. They were all enjoying themselves, including you. Making you move your body to the music, kind of awkwardly.

"Hey (Name!)" You looked over to your right, seeing Pit dancing actually pretty decently. "I didn't expect to see you here. So whatcha doin here?"

"...I'm dancing." You said quietly, but loud enough to where he can hear you. "I really don't know any good dance moves. So I'm just kind of.. dancing... weirdly..."

"Oh." He moved up closer, a few feet away from you. And each step Pit took, the tiles under him glowed a bright rainbow color, before returning back to dark gray.

You looked under your feet and decided to do a quick experiment. You tapped your foot on the tile, and it glowed blue, yellow, orange, and many other colors with each step you performed. Leaving you pretty impressed, even though it's a simple invention.

"That's really cool."

"What's cool (Name?)"

"This colored tile floor." You answered, still tapping your foot on the ground. "I never really have been exposed to one of these. It's pretty awesome."

"Uh huh. I agree with you."

"But hey, do you know any good dance moves you could teach me real quick?" You looked at him, and he nodded his head eagerly.

"Of course I can! But that'll require two dancers instead of one." He turned the other way and smirked to himself. Your happy expression suddenly being replaced with a confused one.

"I mean... like by ourselves."

"Yeah, I know. But I want to dance with you." He said, making you slightly more confused. "And I don't know if you've noticed, but I've been dancing with most of the characters here already."

You only responded with a laugh. "Haha, really? Everybody should be a good dancer by now."

"Yup, and I'm going to make you a good one right now."

He walked up more towards you and interlocked his hand with yours. And you immediately blushed madly, making it become very noticeable. But Pit didn't mind, because he was blushing as bad as you were.

"O-Okay... So w-what do we d-do n-now?" You asked shyly, stuttering your words badly, making you regret asking him a question right at that second.

"Um... actually... we should make up our own dance moves." He admitted, making yours eyes widen.

"B-But I thought you said you knew how to dance!"

"I do."

"Then why are we creating new moves? Shouldn't I be learning instead of teaching?" You asked, slightly cocking your head to to the right.

"...It's better to learn both ways." He answered, now looking away. "You'll become much more experienced rather then before."

"...Really? Is that true?... or are you just making that up?"

"I'm serious (Name)." He said sternly. "I want you to learn better, and I want to dance with you. I've been waiting for this moment for a very long time now."

"...F-Fine." You sighed heavily, and he only smiled.

"Cool. So just let it naturally happen, okay?"

"Okay."

And that's when the fun only started. With the electronic music still playing in the background, Pit was already moving to the beat quickly, forcing you to move along with him. He began taking quick steps back and forth, over and over again, making you rethink about dancing with him. But you wanted to impress him, so you moved quicker than him, and began dancing away.

Pit smiled, and he put his hand above you. And you already knew what to do, you did a couple of spins, making you dizzy. But that didn't matter right now, instead, you ignored it and let go of his hands. He become worried for a second of two, but you broke down and started dancing solo on your own. Pit did the same thing, and seconds passed before you both grabbed each other's hand and danced together again.

You let go of one of Pit's hands, and spun around him, with him turning around with you too. Making the tiles on the floor glow many different colors more rather than before. You both laughed hard and enjoyed each other's company. Then he pulled you back in front of him, and abruptly, he quickly kissed you on the lips. Your eyes widening in the process, but later closing. Suddenly, all the lights turned off in the gym. You heard a loud lazer sound descending, and you knew what was going to happen.

The beat dropped, and everybody went silent and frozen. But then the lights turned back on, flashing it's new color everywhere in the gym, and the music finally returned, but with a new, exciting beat this time. Making everybody suddenly receive a adrenaline rush, jumping up and down to the beat of the music.

Still, you and Pit were still sharing a kiss, a really long one actually, before you both finally pulled back, being in a panting mess, staring into each other's orbs.

"That was awesome (Name)." He said. "See? I told you that you would learn more."

"Hehe, yeah. But I think I learned a little too much." You said teasingly, making him chuckle lightly.

"Oh don't worry (Name), that's a good thing. A very good thing."

You and Pit smiled at each other, before you both started getting into the hype with everybody else around you. Jumping up and down, and enjoying each other's company awhile it lasted.
