30. White Rose.

The next morning I woke up pretty early. I guess it was the unfamiliar environment. After doing my morning routine I decided to call my mother and Rima. They took like 2 hours out of my day which was fine, It wasn't like I had anything to do.

Why was I here again?

I was currently lying on my stomach with my feet in the air, face-timing with Rima and she was in the middle of telling me about a guy she's going out with. She needed my help with which nail polish to put on. I thought she was kidding. "Are you serious?" I deadpanned.

"Yes! Hurry up, pink or nude?" Rima asked anxiously then got up leaving the camera on for me to see how messy her room was, clothes were everywhere, she must have really liked this guy. "Does it really matter? Just wear whichever one you like" I said being of absolutely no help whatsoever.

"PICK ONE!" Rima screamed startling me,

"FINE Geez! The nude one",

"Really? I thought so too" Rima said enthusiastically.

"So tell me more about this lad you're seeing tonight" I asked while stretching back to the bedside table to grab Lorenzo's watch. I played with it as Rima started talking. When I took a closer look I noticed an engraving on it in Italian.

"Well, his name is Joshua, he's a real estate agent. He's super cute and so sweet. The other day he got me a Rose that had a note that said 'Thinking about you' " Rima gushed causing me to laugh.

"He sounds like a prince, when do I get to meet him?"

"Soon but let's stop talking about him, I'm seeing him in a while and I don't want to get too anxious" Rima sounded nervous.

"Okay but relax everything will be fine you have nothing to worry about. You just said he's a great guy" I reassured,

"Yeah but it's just that tonight is our first official date, alone together. All our other dates have been with other people or friends around us, tonight is different" Rima started panicking again but then calmed down.

"Anyways, tell me what happened last night? You never called me back. Did you know I waited until 2 am for you, you whore?" Rima said sounding hurt,

I laughed "It wasn't my fault. So much has happened, first with Lorenzo who pissed me off, and then Ace came over—"

"Ace?!" Rima interrupted, "Y-you were with Ace?" She furrowed her brows.

"Yeah but not like that. He came over last night and we had dinner, that's It" I emphasized.

"That's fine, you don't have to explain anything to me" Rima sounded hurt, she even broke eye contact.

"Hey, it's not like that. There's nothing between us I swear. And aren't you dating someone already?" I jokingly teased her,

"Well...yeah but still. I saw him first" She murmured the last part making me laugh.

"Alright alright. You got dibs. If it makes you feel any better I won't lay a finger on Ace, I promise" I said as I raised my hand like saying an oath.

"You better not"

"Are you serious?" I further teased Rima, I loved it when she snaps.

"I'm as serious as the punch you're gonna get in your face of you ask me if I'm serious again." Rima snapped causing me to laugh. I missed her death threats, she joined me and laughed along

"How's your famiglia? FYI, that means 'Family' in Italian" I boasted earning an eye roll and a sarcastic reply from Rima,

"Wow, almost had to ask Siri for translations." She deadpanned and I made a mean face, "They're great, my brother's a pain in the ass as usual. I'm seriously considering passing him up for adoption" I laughed loudly,
