Peeta POV:
Two Weeks Later
I'm walking down the isle now. This was not how I imagined going to greet Katniss. In a coffin. As I walk up, people give me sympathetic looks. Tears glass my eyes. I take a breath as I get to the podium. I glance over the audience.
"Katniss Everdeen was my light, my muse, and my MockingJay. She was a hero to the districts. Katniss was and still is the bravest, strongest, and most selfless person I have ever seen. But her days are over now. She went too soon though. But she was such an honest, generous, and lovable person. Her smile was contagious, her beautiful grey seam eyes could light up an entire room, and her laugh could make you happy for the rest of your days. She did it for me. Katniss and I were lovers. We were survivors, and we were endures. But it's not about the two numbers that mark her beginning and end. Its about the dash in between. And I hope Katniss' is happy with her dash. She encountered many things in her life. She lived, lost, and most of all loved.
I will always love Katniss, she will always be my lover, and MockingJay."
