" I'd love to, Dumbledore. "

Christopher Moonstone was a wizard in his mid-twenties, around the age of 25. He was tall, thin man, pale skin with a charming smile. His eyes were what you'd describe as ocean blue.

" Thank you, Chris. It's been lovely to meet you. But I must be going. Remember, Y/n must not know of her past, until she arrives Hogwarts. " He warned and Chris looked at the little girl in his arms, nodding.

" As you say, Dumbledore. I swear
on my life I'll take care of her. After all, I love kids. " He said giddily and Dumbledore softly chuckled.

" I'll write to you, Chris. I'll have to go join the celebration. " Dumbledore smiled and disappeared in a creak.
Christopher looked at the girl once more, smiling widely.

" I'll keep you safe, little one. Don't you worry. " Christopher was an Auror in the Ministry of Magic, and Dumbledore trusted Christopher to keep Y/n safe.

" Uncle Chris!!! I can't find my
jumper! " Yelled the girl running down the stairs.

" It's in the living room, honey. " He called, flipping a pancake. Y/n beamed at the delicious scent lingering in the air. She pulled on the jumper and ran towards the kitchen.

Y/n had grown taller, her jet-black hair now reached her mid-back and her face  was taking a good shape. For an eleven year old girl, Christopher decribed her rather beautiful.

" Ah! Pancakes! " She grinned, sliding into one of the stools. Christopher chuckled and slid her a plate of pancakes with Chocolate sauce.

" There you go. "

He than slid her a bowl of strawberries.
Y/n smiled, " Thank you. " She took a bite, enjoying her food. Christopher took off his apron and hung it on the nearby hanger.

" Honey, I've got some things to talk to you about. " He said seriously and Y/n frowned. She placed her fork down and looked at her uncle. " What's wrong? "

" Not now. When I get back from work, we'll talk over dinner, alright? " Y/n nodded wordlessly, " Is it about my scar? "

She asked, raising her hand to show him the lightening-bolt scar just below her wrist. Christopher sighed,
" Something about that. I'll be going now. Don't leave the house or go too far. "

He warned, picking up his work bag and kissed her forehead before leaving the home. Y/n sighed, tracing the scar. She felt like something was missing. She didn't know about her parents.
