The Gryffindor Common Room was nothing like Y/n had ever seen anything. It was filled with red and golden colour, Gryffindor banners hanging on the walls.
It is full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin boards where school notices, ads, lost posters, etc. can be posted.
The common room is decorated in several shades of red and gold, which is associated with the house.There are many windows that look out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace dominates one wall.
The mantle of the fireplace is adorned with a portrait of a lion. The fireplace is also connected to the Floo Network, but as it is extremely public except in the dead of night.
The walls are decorated with scarlet tapestries that depict witches and wizards, but also various animals. There are also bookcases located in the room, filled with various novels.
Y/n took a sharp breath and grinned at Harry. " Welcome to the Gryffindor Common Room. Boys' dormitory is upstairs and down to your left. And girls, same on your right. You'll find all your belongings have already been brought up. Good night. "

They passed a few doors and at the end of the hallway, Y/n found her dorm. " Moonstone, Granger. "
" It's just us! " Y/n grinned and opened the door, stepping in. Inside, the room looked spacious. Since it had only two beds, that had four poster curtains.
" You don't mind if I take the one by the window, do you? "
Y/n asked and Hermione shrugged. " I'm good. " Y/n smiled and nodded. " Thank you. "
She reached the bed and saw her owl with her trunk already there. She also noticed there were Gryffindor robes and needed things were placed on the arm chair.
She opened Moonlight's cage and he flew out, sitting on the owl stand, hooting slightly. Y/n grinned, petting him. " He's so precious. What's his name? "
Y/n smiled, " Moonlight. " Hermione's smile widened. " That's very beautiful, you know. " Y/n chuckled, nodding.
" When do classes start? " Y/n asked, taking out her night gown. " Breakfast starts at 8:00 and lasts till 9:00. So classes start at 9:30. I read it on the notice board. "
