Sitting across him, I swear I wanted nothing but to hide somewhere. He was staring at me with an intense gaze, challenging me to look his way.

While I pretended I didn't even notice his gaze on me and talked to Harry as if nothing was bothering me.

But as the morning drew, I knew was I mental to even let that happen, and like it for the heck of it.

If any of my friends knew, I'd be toast and not to mention the look of betrayal that would cross their faces. I couldn't bare myself to do that.

I sighed as I looked at the abrupt sound towards the head table and saw Umbridge furiously talking with McGonagall, but in hushed voices.

I could only roll my eyes at the sight of them. Shaking my head, I looked back at my food and decided just to drink coffee so I wouldn't be sleeping in classes today.

I downed a good amount of coffee before getting up to follow Hermione for my first lesson, Charms. Absolutely love it.

" I'm sure she'll end up sacking someone. I heard she didn't like Trelawney and you already know what happened in Hagrid's class. "

I huffed, nodding. Umbridge, as a High Inquisitor, had inspected many lessons, including Hagrid's class with Gryffindors and Slytherins.

And I knew she was planning on sacking Hagrid soon. He had been back from his secret mission just a week ago and she was already questioning him.

I settled on my desk, beside Luis and smiled at him. " Morning. " He grinned,
" Morning, Y/n."

I heard someone throat clear and realise it's professor Flitwick.
" When did he get here? " I whispered and Luis shrugged, giving me a confused look.

I averted my gaze away from him. It was sort of hard to talk to him as friends. But I wouldn't let go of him no matter what.

And I wanted to get over him. It was wrong of me to even hang on him like this and I was very happy when he told me he turned out to be a gay.

That made me realise he actually trusted me, not that I doubted it. It just makes it real, you know what I mean?

Anyway, I-

" Alright, class! Enough talking. " Flitwick called and I settled in my seat, comfortable. Glad Draco wasn't in this one.

Later That Day,
Afternoon.

" What's happened? " I reached Harry, grabbing on his arm so the crowd wouldn't push and pull.
