Y/n hurriedly put on some nice clothes before doing everything double check. She quickly grabbed her trunk and owl cage, trying to drag it down.
Chris chuckled at her trouble. " Hold on, leave it there. " Y/n huffed and let the trunk on the ground. The trunk and owl cage itself started to float and Y/n laughed at herself.
She got in the car and excitedly ranted about how exciting it was going to be. Once they reached the King's Cross Station, her uncle lead her inside with the ticket in her hand.
" Platform number nine to three quarters? Is there such platform? " She asked and her uncle nodded.
" Oh, you'll see. See that wall? We're going to run through it. " Y/n grinned. " Wicked. "
" Ready? " Y/n nodded and took a deep breath. She clutched her small hands on the trolley and pushed it forward with the help of her uncle. She closed her eyes as the wall neared but nothing happened.
She didn't feel the impact but only a gust of wind pushing past her. She opened her eyes and gaped around at the station. " Wow! "
Was the first word that left her lips. She looked at the red express and it's steam. The crowd, the parents saying goodbye to each of their kids. She smiled.
As her uncle laoded her things, she looked around and spotted the same boy she had collided with in front of Ollivanders. She gave him a shy wave and he smiled back, almost immediately recognising her.
How could he not? She looked so much like him.
" Write to me, alright? Don't worry about the houses. No matter what house you get chosen in, I'll be proud as always. " He whispered, kissing her forehead.
Y/n grinned and nodded. She wanted to cry, she knew she'd miss her uncle and Hogwarts was so far away. But the excitement was just too much. " I promise I'll write once I get sorted. But you'll have to eat healthy food when I'm gone. "
She warned and Christopher laughed, pulling her in a hug. " Of course, sweetheart. I wouldn't dare disobey you. " He teased and Y/n giggled.
" Anyway, listen to me. No matter what anyone says, you stand on your feet, alright? Stick to your opinions and be strong. I'm not saying it's bad to listen to others. Just trust yourself. " He said and Y/n nodded, her eyes filled with tears.
" We'll see each other at christmas. " He smiled, making her smile too. She hugged him once more before the train whistled. She sighed and kissed her uncle's cheek before waving at him.
" Bye, love you! "
" Love you too, darling. Stay safe. " He called and Y/n nodded. She got in the train and walked down the compartments to sit. She wanted to make friends and probably the guy from earlier would like to.
