Anyways, let's get onto Stevie boi, this one is a special one for him :)

Today was just a typical Saturday morning. The sun was shining and the air was warm. Everyone was lazing about this weekend. But Steve had other plans just for you...
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!!!!" Soda's yelling erupted from the DX.
"Shh! Shh!" Steve shushed Soda loudly, "Don't make a scene, man!"
"But no one's here." Soda glanced around the area.
"True, but you dunno when someone's gonna show up. Especially Y/N."
"AAAH IT'S SO GOOOD!" Soda immediately ignored his pal's plea, "SHE'S GONNA BE SO SURPRISED!" Steve couldn't help but get sucked into Soda's extreme happiness.
"I KNOW RIGHT?" He grinned, "Last time, she surprised me big time with a new car and thoughtful gifts that were on a completely different level compared to mine. I loved it all, but I feel like I ain't giving her as much as she deserves. And I also want to finally get her to make that surprise face instead of me. Since today is not a special day, she won't suspect NOTHIN!"
"I'm so proud of ya, buddy!" Soda began to playfully tackle Steve, "That plan is sooo good! Who's da man? You da man!"
"I'm the fucking MAN!" Steve whooped, thing himself and showing his muscles. They spent a whole minute hyping themselves up.
"What are y'all so excited about?" A voice asked behind them. They immediately stopped and spun around.
"Y/N!" Steve choked out, "I didn't see you there."
"Well, I just arrived." You said, "Did you guys win a fight over Socs or something?"
"No." Steve said, "We was just paling around."
"Oh, okay." You shrug.
"I'll leave ya two be." Soda put his arms around the both of us, "In fact, I'll take your shift."
"Huh?" Steve questioned, "Are you sure you don't need any help?"
"Nah, everything's fine, buddy. Besides, I don't have any plans today. You two should go out and get some alone time."
"Thanks, man." Steve grinned and roughly patted Soda's back, "But really, you don't have to work more and alone. You already work a lot."
"Don't keep the woman waiting." Soda whispered mischievously with a wink then headed towards a car that just arrived.
Steve hurriedly glanced at you to see if you noticed. You just stood a few feet away, playing with the pebbles under your feet.
Steve let out a sigh of relief and triumph on the path to victory.
"Hang on one minute." Steve told you, "I'll change firth then I can take you on a date, is that good?"
"Sure." You nod with a smile.
Steve broke his record for the fastest time he'd ever changed clothes. In the bathroom, Steve made sure he didn't smell and combed his greased up hair so that everything was perfect...well, close to it at least.
When he got back to you, he wrapped an arm around your shoulder and escorted you to his car. Like a gentleman, he opened the door for you first. He swiftly hopped into the driver's seat. The car engine let out a small roar as Steve started it with his key. As he pressed the gas lightly, he looked over at Soda who gave him a thumbs up for good luck in the distance.
"So, ya hungry?" Steve suggested as you both stopped at a red light.
"Very." You giggle.
"Anything ya want." He said, "My treat. Just got my pay check yesterday so I'm full with cash."
You gasp and think.
"Burgers?" You ask.
"Woman after my own heart." Steve chuckled, and turned right. You both sat in silence as Steve searched for the best burger place.
"You have plans for me today, don't you." You say with a smirk.
"Plans? Since when?" He sputtered, "I just wanna spend a day with my girl, that's all."
You cocked an eyebrow with suspicion and giggled.
Steve looked as cool as can be while driving. But inside his mind, he was so nervous that you knew his entire plan. He was so caught up in his thoughts he didn't hear you saying his name.
"Steve!" You called.
"Huh?" He blurted out, "What? What happened?"
"The gas." You point at the tank. Steve looks and sees that it's almost at empty.
"Aw, shit." He sighed, "Forgot to do it at the DX. Ugh, and we're already far!"
You guys were both in a pretty unfamiliar part of the town. You and Steve had only been around once or twice. He was determined to find the "best" burger place that was located there.
"Yes, a gas station." Steve sighed heavily, pulling over slowly.
"Uh, I dunno about this place." You say cautiously.
"What do you mean? This is just a normal gas station."
"Nuh uh, it looks ghetto."
"Babe, we live in a ghetto town."
"I know, but this is even more ghetto."
Steve took a good look at the gas station and nodded.
"Actually, you're right." He admitted, "But, this place is the nearest gas station and this car is gonna be dead in a bit."
"Well, okay." You say, "But hurry up, it's kinda scary. And I'm hungry."
"Will do." He pulled over in the gas station, "Don't touch anything, I'm right outside."
"Yeah." You lean back and give in, watching him as he got out.
Suddenly, you really needed to go. Go go. You examine the gas stations for a bathroom. Bingo. You get out of the car and Steve looks at you, confused.
"I'm gonna use the bathroom." You informed Steve, "I'll be back before you're done."
He gives you a thumbs and waits for you to leave. He takes a deep breath then jumps a bit. Things had to go smooth no matter what. No mishaps. No problems. No changes. Sticking to the ultimate plan. So far, a good start. And he wasn't going to let anyone or anything ruin it.
"Put your hands behind your head!" A person shouted behind Steve. Steve immediately spun around and did so, seeing a bunch of guys about his age pointing what looked to be guns at him.
"What the fu-!" Steve exclaimed with anger.
"Yell and I'll shoot!" One of them cut off Steve, "Now give us the car!"
"No, not my car!" Steve snapped, "I'll beat all ya'll skinny ass scrotums if you lay a damn finger on it!"
"Give us the car!" The guy moved closer with the gun but Steve didn't flinch. He clenched his fists and was about to punch him when-
"Steve?!" You call out from the commotion with worry.
Steve paused then looked towards you. You and him were more important than the car. Steve heavily sighed.
"Take it and leave." He growled. The guys cheered, hopped in the car, and started the engine. While they did, they threw the guns in front of Steve's feet then drifted away onto the streets.
"Wait-what happened?!" You exclaim and rushed over to him, "The car! Steve, are you okay?"
He was about to answer you when there was something peculiar about the guns. They didn't look...real.
Steve bent down and picked up one of the guns. He examined it closely.
"Wait a damn minute." He started to realize with horror, "THESE ARE NERF GUNS SPRAY PAINTED BLACK!!!"
With rage, he threw it on the ground and the plastic broke with some pieces skidding across the ground. He kicked a pole multiple times, yelling.
"I JUST LET OUR CAR GET ROBBED BY A BUNCH OF PUNKS WITH NERF GUNS!" Steve yelled at himself, "AAAAAAAAGH!"
You sigh and walk towards Steve cautiously after he finally calmed down.
"Babe, I can call the police and have them get the car back." You suggest. Steve nodded, on the brink of sobbing because you gave him that car. That car and you were his life.
The car wouldn't be found quickly. Both you and Steve were stuck in a gas station in an unfamiliar place. Steve didn't want to let up. He was determined to make this day perfect for you.
"Let's go eat, babe." He said, taking your hand and pointing to the burger place a block away. Both of you walk to the burger place and get something to eat. Steve paid. Oddly, both of you weren't hungry anymore. Steve was still somewhat irritated and you were worried completely. Steve didn't noticed until he stopped thinking about the car and looked at you.
"Baby, you alright?" Steve reached over and stroked your face with his hand.
"Yeah, I just dunno what's gonna happen." You confess.
Steve agreed in his mind, but he didn't say anything. He wanted to make you happy no matter what.
"Come on, we'll take these to go." He told you.
"But where are we going?" You ask, "We don't have a ride and the bus doesn't even come in a while."
"I have my ways." Steve grinned with hope and pride. He took you to the telephone booth right next to the burger place and dialed in a number. He picked it up impatiently and tapped his foot, waiting for someone to answer. Finally, someone picked up.
"Hey, Ms. Mathews." Steve said in a sort of formal voice, "Is Two-Bit there? It's important. Okay, thanks. No, we ain't gonna stir trouble. Positive. Bye."
You stood and watched Steve the entire time as he then waited for Two-Bit to come to the phone.
"What do ya want, Stevie?" Two asked playfully but yawned, "I was takin' a nap. Ma said it was important. Why you crying to me all of sudden, that's weird."
"You nap every hour." Steve scoffed, "Anyways, I need you to give me and Y/N a ride to-,"
He glanced at you then whispered into the phone, covering his mouth so you couldn't read his lips.
"Really?!" Two exclaimed on the phone so loudly you could hear it, "Alrighty, I'll be on my way."
Steve hung up and took you to the nearest bench for both of to wait.
"Where are we going?" You ask Steve with mixed emotions.
"You'll see." Steve just said. He could tell you didn't like this at all, he felt bad but it was going to get better, he hoped.
After long minutes, Two's rusty car swerved right in front of them, sputtering and squealing as it hauled to a stop. Two cocked an eyebrow and flashed a grin.
"Get in bietches!" He said with a laugh. Both of you squeezed next to Two who immediately stepped on the gas once the door closed.
"Thanks, man." Steve chuckled.
"No prob." Two replied, winking afterwards then grinning towards you then Steve. They both laughed and you sat confused and irritated as to why they did.
While driving, Two turned up the radio loudly to a Beatles song as he swerved quickly down the road.
You grasp onto the car tightly, fearing for your life. Steve too was watching the road and judging his car.
"Are you sure you aren't drunk again?" You ask.
"Maybe, I don't even know anymore." Two admitted, "Hard to track whether I'm tipsy or sober or just plain excited. I dunno if there's difference anymore!"
"I can see." You say with uncertainty.
Steve was gazing out the window when he saw a car. The car looked familiar. Wait, that was his stolen car. It was parked in front of a club.
"STAAAAUUUP!" Steve shouted.
Startled, Two stomped the breaks, causing cars to swerve and honk.
"Hey, I ain't no bus driver!" Two protested, "If ya want me to do a favor, I'm only doin that favor and nothing else!"
"But that's my stolen car!" Steve pointed out, opening the door and getting out, "I'm getting it back!"
"Steve!" You call after him, racing behind him.
"Holy frick nuggets!" Two exclaimed, panicking on the wheel, "Watch it! Damn, y'all better get back here!"
Steve raced into the club to find the thieves who stole his keys, he was going to steal the back.
There he saw them in the club, dancing with ladies. And he saw one with the keys dangling clearing in his hand.
Without hesitation, or thinking at all, he ran like an angry bull and punched the guy square on the mouth. The blow sent him reeling back and the keys flew in the air. Seeming like slow motion, Steve jumped up and grabbed the keys. The moment he touched the ground he took off in a sprint. He knew the guys were chasing him and didn't look back. He shoved away anyone in his path to get to the door.
Steve grabbed your hand along the way and didn't stop sprinting. Things were finally going his way and he wasn't stopping for a moment...which he should've done.
Steve didn't stop himself and when he reached the street, he got hit by Two-Bit who was trying to park in front of the club. Steve was sent reeling back and tumbling like a rag doll.
"STEVE!" You cried out in pure terror, confusion, and worry.
"WHAT THE-!" Two exclaimed, jumping out of the car and rushing towards Steve who lay groaning and rolling on the ground, "YOU AINT A FLIPPIN DEER, WHY THE HELL DID YA DO THAT AND ARE YOU GOOD?!"
Steve sat up and lightly touched his nose. He hissed the moment he did and caught sight of blood.
"Yup." He said nonchalantly, "My nose is broken again."
"Steve, you're hurt!" You exclaim, "Can you stand up? Two, we might need to take him to the hospital."
"I'm fine!" Steve raised his voice then coughed, "Sorry, but I am. Let's go."
"But-," You begin to say but through the shocked crowd were the guys who stole the car. They were fuming mad and getting closer.
Steve stood up in spite of his body aching and quickly took you in his car.
"Thanks for the ride Two!" Steve blurted out, "But I'll take it again!"
"Don't get yourself in anymore trouble, Lover Boy!" Two called out with a grin.
As Steven began to drive, you watched him as he kept his eyes on the road with serious determination.
"Where are we going now?" You mumbled.
"You'll see." Steve said as he shifted the gear a little to vigorously.
"This doesn't feel right." You confess and rub your arm.
His glance shifted towards you and his look softened.
"Hey," He said, holding your hand while the other turned the steering wheel, "I know this ain't seeming right, believe me. But you'll see, this will be fun."
"Okay." You say quietly. After a few minutes of silence, you pointed out, "It looks like it might rain soon."
Steve looked up at the sky and saw grey clouds in the distance.
"Meh," he shrugged, "I don't think so, looks far. Besides, we won't be out for that long."
Steve turned and drove down the road the extended all the way up a hill.
"We're going up there?" You ask curiously.
"Mmhm!" Steve hummed with a sly smirk, going faster.
His smirk only lasted for a second when a sputter, coming from his car, emerged. The car began to slow down on its own and the car stopped. Steve pressed the gas pedal, nothing worked. Steve checked the gas tank and realized he messed up big time.
He thought he put gas in the car earlier, but recalling before he was robbed, he didn't put any in just yet.
"DAMMIT!" He shouted as he slapped the wheel. He then slammed his head down then groaned.
Still, there was a small flame.
"We're walking up there." Steve got out of the car.
"What?!" You question, "Steve, you're hurt and it's a long walk. Let's just call Two again-,"
"NO!" He suddenly snapped and coughed again, "We're gonna walk up there and this plan is gonna work my way!"
Startled, you stay quiet and follow him.
Just starting the walk, a raindrop fell on both of you. Then more. More. More. Not split second later, it was pouring rain. Steve groaned and cursed at the sky and Mother Nature and took you by the hand.
Up the road of the hill, Steve struggled greatly. He had bags under his eyes, his nose was still bleeding, and overall, he looked like a complete mess.
You've never seen Steve this determined to do something other than fights. But this kind of scared you.
After a long walk, he tiredly led you to the top. When he did, he collapsed to his knees and tried to catch his breath, still being soaked under the rain.
"Steve!" You rush over worried but stopped when he put his hand out.
He dug into his back pocket and pulled something out. He then put one leg out, making him look like he was kneeling.
Your heart skipped a beat and you pulled away. Could he-?
He then revealed a small black box and looked up with you with tired, loving eyes.
"What..." You breath out with your mouth open and eyes sparkling.
"Y/N." He said loudly through the rain, "I'm sorry. This was supposed to be the big surprise.  I had the perfect surprise planned out. I was gonna take you out to nice places until sunset then we would drive up here and I would show you the view. As you were looking, I would propose. It was the perfect surprise and I've wanted to marry you since the day we were together. You were just the perfect gal. Funny, clever, tough...I just love you so much. You always got me the better surprises, you deserve the best. This was supposed to be great, but it's a flop. Everything is."
You stood in silence for a moment. Steve grew embarrassed and stood up, looking away shamefully. He was about to turn away when you held his hand.
"It's okay." You smile at him, "Really. You did this all for me. It's amazing, it shows how much you love me. But you don't need to top my surprises to show that. I love you for you."
Steve smiled and stood up, meeting your gaze. With that, the rain started to fade and the sun paved way through the clouds.
"And," You add, your eyes sparkling, "You're joking about the proposal...right?"
"Nope." Steve laughed as he got back down on one knee and opened the box, "Y/N, will you marry me?"
You squealed loudly and jumped up and down.
"Yes!" You shout without hesitation.
"Hold still!" Steve laughed taking out the ring.
When he was about to slip it on your finger, the ring slipped out of his grasp. Down, down it went...tumbling down the hill.
You both stood in silence, watching the ring disappear. You both then looked at each other...and shrugged. Steve picked you up in his arms and spun you around, laughing along with you. But this only last for a few seconds because he was aching.
"Why don't we get the car towed, call Two again, and go home." You suggest.
"Yeah, I'm pooped." Steve sighed, "My nose hurts too."
"Of course, you just got hit." You chuckled.
"Desperate times calls for desperate measures."
"Oh, what about the ring..."
"I'll just get you a new one. A ring pop will be the substitute right now."
"Alright, idea man." You laughed.
Two brought you guys home. He congratulated you both but was shocked to find no ring, leading an explanation. On the was home he wouldn't stop joking about how Steve was not at his A game today. When you got home, you both got cleaned up and you tended to Steve's injuries on the couch.
"Steve?" You ask.
"Yeh?" He responded.
"That was the best surprise ever." You smile up at him.
"Anything for you." Steve have a small smirk and pulled you towards him to kiss you.
The next day, you both informed your engagement and left out those mishaps...then Two opened his big mouth then got a beating by Steve.
