If you didn't read Smile, a soda imagine I wrote a while ago, read that first to understand this one thx :)
Play song too hope you ready to cry

Soda sat on his bed, reading a letter you had wrote to him.
He smiled and laughed when he finished.
He kissed his finger and put it on the paper.
"I love you too, baby." He whispered.
It had been almost a year ever since Soda saw your face and heard your voice, but he always kept it in his mind and his heart. Even the gang too.
Soda was getting more homesick by the minute. He missed his hometown, sure it was broken and full of discrimination but he had people he loved there.
Soda couldn't smile or have fun there, he couldn't be his happy, cheerful self. He was in the war and he's seen things he never wanted to see.
Well, he met some friends on the way but it wasn't the same as hanging out with the gang.
Tears started falling from his face and onto his hands.
"I just wanna go home." He softly said as he sobbed onto his hands, "I just want to see everyone again."
He sniffed and whimpered. He covered his mouth in shock.
What if I don't ever see them again? He thought.
Then he shook his head.
Soda remembered what he said to Darry and Pony.
"We're all we got left. If we don't have each other, we don't have anything."
He chuckled at himself because he realized he was wrong. Even if everyone is far apart, they'll all still be together no matter what. Greasers stick together.
He took out a heart necklace he had in his pocket. It was a picture of you and Soda inside.
"Sorry, Y/N." He whispered, "We might not have that wedding we've always wanted."
Soda finally climbed into his bed and slept.

Soda was in the middle of the battlefield. This wasn't like a rumble back at home, it was life or death.
Soda clutched his injured arm as he hid for cover. He jumped at the ear piercing sounds of gunshots and yelling.
He watched in horror as more of his allies were injured or gunned down in a bloody massacre.
He dug into his pocket with shaking hands and pulled out the necklace that had blood all over it.
He held it close to him and took a deep breath.
He let out a battle cry and got up from hiding. With his gun, he aimed and fired at the enemies. He hit some men and was about to get more until he felt bullets shoot into his side. He gasped and fell to the ground.
Sharp pain and the feeling of his blood escaping rapidly was growing on Soda's side.
His vision was starting to get blurry. He felt weak.
"I'm so sorry." He weakly said as tears flowed from his face, "I'm so sorry, everyone. I can't come back, I'm sorry."
He held his necklace tightly in his hands.
"Please." He said, "Keep living without me. Pony, Darry, Steve, Two-Bit...Y/N...."
His grip on the necklace started to loosen.
"I love you all..." He whispered his final words.
He let go of the necklace. His last breath escaped from his mouth. A single tear rolled from his now empty eyes.
He died with a small smile on his face.
