Dallas woke up in an unfamiliar place. All he remembered was getting shot by the police.
He looked at his body, there were no wounds.
He stood up and looked all around him. There was nothing. Nobody. It was only bright. Was he in the afterlife? Was he dreaming?
He didn't know where he was or what was going on.
He looked to see if anyone was around besides him.
Then he saw a figure in the distance. He squinted to get a better look.
He slightly gasped and his eyes welled up with tears. It was Johnny.
He started walking closer.
"J-Johnny?" Dal asked, "I-Is it really you?"
Johnny turned around and gasped.
Johnny was surprised also. He smiled.
"Dal?" He asked.
They started to walk towards each other, then they jogged. Then sprinted.
They leapt into each other's arms, hugging each other tightly.
"I thought I lost you forever." Dallas whispered into Johnny as he cried.
Then Johnny's eyes widened as he pulled away from the hug.
"Wait," Johnny said, "Why are you here? Don't tell me you..."
"Yes," Dal said, "After you died I wanted to kill myself. I robbed a store and the police came after me. I saw the gang running towards me in the distance and then black. Next thing I knew I'm here with you. Is this the afterlife or am I dreaming?"
"No, I don't think this is a dream." Johnny chuckled, "It's real. I didn't know you would die for me, Dal."
"Well, I did. Because I couldn't imagine living in a world without you by my side." Dal confessed. Johnny's smile grew wider, "I thought I'd be going to hell, or reincarnate into a fucking duck or something."
Johnny laughed.
"It's nice to be here with you." He said.
"Yeah, same here."
They both started to walk away together, arms around each other's shoulders.
They were finally together forever.
