If they went to a pumpkin patch/carved pumpkins

But before pumpkin carving, you gotta get the pumpkin first!

-pumpkin patch field trip!!!!
-Darry's bus driver again
-he really doesn't mind this time
-he brainstorms all of the food he could make with the pumpkins
-everyone is packed in the car and peering out the window
-Two: "PUMPKINS! POOPYKINS YAY! WEEEE-!"
-his face is pressed on the glass
-Steve: "I'm gonna find the biggest pumpkin!"
-Soda: "No, I will!"
-Steve: "OH IT'S ON!"
-Pony is silently staring out the window
-daydreaming and serious
-boi acting like the main character of a drama

-Bella from Twilight is that u??
-Johnny has stars in his eyes as he also silently peers out the window

-cus he doesn't get out of town much and he hasn't been to a pumpkin patch before

-Dally looks out and sees children carrying pumpkins
-Dally: "...d i s c o s t a n g."
-Everyone disperses like cockroaches when Darry finally parked the car
-they all go into their own little groups to get pumpkins
-Steve and Soda are sprinting into the field of pumpkins
-they push each other as they try to find the biggest pumpkin
-Steve shoves a little kid out of his way as he's still sprinting
-Soda skids to a stop
-he runs back and quickly helps the kid up and gives him a tiny pumpkin
-he then goes back to catch up with Steve
-they are are in need
-need for speed
-and big ass pumpkins
-Johnny: "I've never seen so many pumpkins in one place! Sure at a store, but not fields of fresh ones!"
-Dally nudges his foot on a rotten pumpkin and sneers
-Dally: "Not exactly fresh. I haven't been here since I was a tot, I've always hated it here."
-Johnny is holding little baby pumpkins and looks up at Dally
-Johnny: "Why??"
-"I-,"
-Dally couldn't say anything bad to Johnny
-especially with a curious face he's making while holding the pumpkins

-Dally: "It ain't that bad actually. Le-Let's just get the pumpkins and go!"
-Johnny laughs then suddenly gasps loudly
-"DALLY LOOK!"
-"What???"
-Johnny picks up a white pumpkin
-Johnny, grinning: "It's you!"
-he's so proud as he hold it up
-Dally looks at his pale skin then at the pumpkin
-Dally snort laughs
-they both take the pumpkin
-Two-Bit is by himself again
-and he's drunk (on pumpkin spice beer he brought of course)
-he's stumbling down the field singing that Hocus Pocus lullaby
-he's so freaking creepy all the parents hide their kids from him
-Two remembers he had to find his own pumpkin
-he looks around
-After four 360s he stops and squeals and runs to get his desired pumpkin
-Ponyboy: "Geez, it's mighty pretty out here. Fall is nice. I wonder if this place would look better at sunset."
-Darry: "Do ya have a fetish for sunsets, Ponyboy?"
-Pony: "WHAT?! No staaauuup ruining everything I like Darry! Ugh!"
-Pony's mad upset
-he won't look or talk to Darry anymore
-he just wants to go home
-Darry is regretting what he said
-Darry: "Hey, Buddy."
-Pony doesn't look still
-Darry: "Remember when dad would take us here and pick out the weirdest pumpkin to take home?"
-Pony laughs a little and nods
-he loves that memory but mostly the attempt of Darry making amends
-Pony: "Yeah, dad always had a heart for them. Then mom would cook something from the pumpkin."
-Darry: "What do ya say? Let's find some unique pumpkins. Then afterwards, we cook the pumpkin bits!"
-Pony: "Deal!"
-AAAA wholesome
-fast forward thirty minutes later
-the gang meet up to see their picked pumpkins
-Johnny picked the white, small pumpkin and holds it proudly
-Dally has a small pumpkin Johnny gave him
-he looks too cool for this but really
-he's having fun
-Steve and Soda are struggling to hold their gigantic pumpkins
-they're the same size pumpkins
-Steve, straining: "Mine's bigger, Soda!"
-Soda, also straining: "Yours is tiny!"
-Two: "hah-Tha-THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!!"
-Soda and Steve: "STF UP!!!"
-Darry: "Boys, excuse me~."
-Soda and Steve turn to look at Darry and almost drop their pumpkins
-Darry found a pumpkin even larger than Soda's and Steve's
-yet he's holding it with ease and has a smirk on his face
-Pony has a pumpkin shaped like a cube
-Idk how he found that
-he didn't even think it was possible himself
-but it was the most unique out of the pumpkins he searched
-Last but not least, Two-Bit
-Johnny: "What'd you pick, Two?"
-he's hiding his pumpkin behind his bag and has a grin even bigger than the biggest pumpkin
-Two: "Alrighty, feast your eyes on this!"
-he pulls out his pumpkin quickly
-Surprisingly, somehow
-it's shaped like a pp
-Two: "TADA!"
-Everyone bursts out into laughter and surprise
-families couldn't help but look and see Two holding up the pp pumpkin as high as he can and cheering
-he's so proud
-he made everyone laugh uncontrollably and his pumpkin was absolutely beautiful
-probably cus it looks like his-
-they got kicked out but they bought the pumpkins
-it's time for pumpkin carving!!!
-may the best pumpkin win bragging rights
-Pony and Johnny are silently carving
-their hands are shaking
-they sweatin

-Steve is violently stabbing the pumpkin and scooping out the insides like organs with his bare hands
-he's making a giant mess
-Pony is glaring at him cus the mess is getting on his side
-Soda is smiling so widely
-his cutting is decent, but he's having a blast
-it takes him back
-he's still a kid at heart
-Soda: "Hey, check it out!"
-everyone looks at Soda
-Soda, with pumpkin string sticking to the sides of his face and has a devilish smirk: "Ya wanna know how I got these scars???"
-Two, pointing at Soda: "I understood that reference."
-Steve: "uh..."
-he don't get their references
-Pony, blankly: "It's a joker and Captain America reference, Steve."
-Steve: "puh-I knew that! I ain't stupid! I just didn't think it was funny. Now with you explaining it, it's worse, stick-in-the mud."
-Pony, mumbling: "Head-stuck-in-his-ass."
-Johnny, sighs: "Guys."
-Dally: "Yeah, guys! Quit squabbling and carve!"
-Steve: "You ain't even gotten anything done! You just smoking your weed!"
-Dally takes his cigarette out of his mouth
-he presses on the pumpkin with the hot end
-he then turns the pumpkin to Steve
-he drew "F U"
-Dally: "You was saying something?"
-Steve turns away and continues to stab his pumpkin
-Dally smokes again in cool victory
-Darry makes sure he scoops all the pumpkin insides and into a container so that he can cook something for later
-he orders the gang to do the same
-Darry starts to carve but is troubled with his own strength and creativity
-he looks a little frustrated but he wants to a part
-Two rubs his hands together
-it is time my friends
-everyone can't help but glance at Two every so often
-first to gut it
-he starts to cut the tip
-everyone bursts into laughter again but cringe while they do
-he then reaches inside to get the stuff out
-Soda and Steve are rolling on the floor
-Two is pulling out the pumpkin stuff like a magic trick
-Two: "Now, let's add some flare."
-he begins to skin the pumpkin
-Dally: "Man, it hurts to watch."
-Soda and Steve still are laughing
-Johnny cringes and blushes
-Pony laughs while turning Scarlett red
-Darry is disgusted but laughs with them
-after a few hours of pumpkin carving, laughs, drinking, smoking, they finished and we're ready to reveal their pumpkins
-Darry added candlelight in each pumpkin and turned off the lights
-everyone awed as they saw their pumpkins
-Darry's pumpkin was a poorly carved smily face with two eyes different sizes and placed differently
-Pony's definitely won the best
-his looked exactly like a traditional jack o lantern
-except cube shaped
-Johnny carved in small, cute smile
-but he mostly used stickers and glitter glue
-he preferred those rather then cutting
-Dally's bold pumpkin still shown "F U"
-he's still kinda proud
-Steve carved out an evil face but his carving looked like if a 3 year old was in charge
-sorry Steve
-he was very happy with his though
-Soda carved out a grinning pumpkin
-Soda: "it's my child!"
-Two-Bit

-he made a glowing pp
-Two, crying: "I've made a work of art! It's so beautiful!"
-Afterwards, the gang had a sleepover watching scary movies
-all their pumpkins were displayed on the porch for all to see
