"She's so beautiful, huh? Our pretty girl." You heard Mirio's low voice murmur softly, lulling you out of sleep.

You felt a big calloused hand caress your face softly, their thumb running over your lips and wiping away any excess drool, while the other ran up and down your waist, feeling the curve of your hip. Another smaller hand rubbed your back, the other set on the opposite side of your waist. Your lips quirked upwards slightly,
a small smile on your face as you leaned into the touch.

"Oh? Is our sunshine awake?" Mirio asked, a hint of playfulness in his voice.

"Mm, not yet." You mumbled drowsily in response, not even bothering to open your eyes.

There was a small silence, where you were unsure of what was happening before they made their move. Mirio began peppering your face and chin with kisses, while Tamaki kissed the back of your neck, his teeth grazing over love bites and hickeys.

"That tickles!" You giggled, squirming underneath their hands, waking up even more.

"C'mon, open up those pretty eyes for us, sunshine. Let us see them." Mirio told you.

You shook your head, puffing out your cheeks and refusing, pouting softly. "Please?" Tamaki muttered lowly in your ear.

You couldn't say no to them. Reluctantly, you opened your eyes, seeing Mirio laying in front of you, and Tamaki laying beside you. It was morning, sunlight filling the room, and birds chirping melodically outside.

"So gorgeous, see? That's much better." Mirio pressed a kiss to your lips, Tamaki kissing you after, and then the boys both kissing each other. "What do you want for breakfast?"

"Pancakes," Tamaki answered, while you said waffles.

"What?"

"W-what?"

"Waffles are so much better than pancakes. Pancakes are just too batter-ry. All you can taste is the dough. There's no flavor." You argued.

"B-but waffles are so blocky. They fall apart when you try to eat them." Tamaki shot back.

"How about we make both?" Mirio offered, getting to his feet and stepping out of the bed, Tamaki getting off as well.

You shrugged, sitting up. "Sure."

"Alright, let's go." Mirio started heading out of the bedroom, holding Tamaki's hand. "You coming, (y/n)?"

"You guys can go ahead without me. I got some stuff I have to do first. Let me know when it's ready." You told them, glancing over at your phone.

They both noticed this, Mirio giving you a small nod, turning away and leaving the room, leaving you all alone. Sighing, you picked up your phone, finally turning it on. You didn't want to do this. You really didn't.

You'd much rather live here with Tamaki and Mirio, and hide away from your family, and school, and everything. But as much as you wanted to, you knew you couldn't. It wouldn't be fair to your family, or Eri. And you knew you had to fix things.

So, you took a deep breath and called them up. You could do this. Not for your shitty parents, but for Eri. All for Eri. "Hello?"

"(Y/n)? Where are you? We've been worried sick. We were just about to call the cops!" Your mother told you, her voice laced with concern.

Well, that's a first.

You thought to yourself, and almost said it, but stopped at the last second. At least your mom was trying, so you supposed you could give her credit for that. "I'm fine, Mom. I just stayed the night at Tamaki's."

"Well, you need to get home. Your father and I have something very important to tell you, and Eri's awfully upset." Poor Eri. Right when you promised her that you would never leave her, you did this. She must feel so sad and scared, you needed to get back.

"Alright, I'll be there soon." You told her, hanging up.

--

After breakfast, Mirio and Tamaki drove you back home, where you prepared to face your parents. They pulled up right in front of your house, parking, and letting you step out. You leaned over the window, kissing both boys on the cheek.

"Text us when you can and let us know how it goes okay? Good luck." Mirio said, before rolling up the window and driving away.

You doubted luck could help you now. Not even god could. You were screwed, but you still forced yourself to walk in. It felt like walking into your very own parental ambush, where you'd be lectured, grounded, maybe even sent to that shitty all-girl boarding school.

You quietly opened the door, seeing your parents in the kitchen, waiting for you. They both looked over, your father giving you a weak smile, while your mother turned away. "Eri! (y/n)'s here!"

The little girl came running over to you, hugging you, her arms wrapping around your waist and her head resting against your stomach. You hugged her back, feeling her shuddered breaths vibrating against your body.

"I missed you so much." She blubbered, and you picked her up, wiping away the wet droplets from her tear-stricken face. Her eyes were blood shot,  as if she had been crying all night. "You weren't answering Mama's  calls and- and- I thought you were going to be gone forever."

"I know, I'm sorry. I missed you too. I'd never leave you, okay? And I never will. I love you more than anything." You told her, fighting back tears as the guilt hit you.

"I love you too." She sniffled, wrapping her arms around your neck, hiding her face in your shoulder. You slowly swayed back and forth, letting her fall asleep in your arms.

Once she did sleep, you set her in her bed, tucking her in and kissing her on the forehead. You stepped away from her room, closing the door, and walking out to the kitchen.

"You're a good sister. And a better parent than the both of us." Your father told you. That was the last thing you were expecting. Some yelling, lecturing, and discipline, but nothing like this. "Thank you."

"About what you said last night, you were right. We've both been so vacant towards you and Eri, and it isn't fair to you. We're sorry. And I know you're growing up and becoming more independent and exploring, so as long as whatever you're doing with those two boys is safe, I'm happy for you. Your mother and I have some things we need to work out, and-"

"Wait, are you getting divorced?" You interrupted him.

"No, we're just trying to figure some things out and- (y/n), your mother is going to rehab. We're checking in tomorrow, and then I'm going to stay at the hotel for a couple of days before I return to America." He explained.

You looked over at your mom, and she didn't meet your gaze, staring down at the floor. "So, you're leaving us?"

"It's not like that, (y/n). We need some time for ourselves to try and fix this. To try and be better parents. We're not going to abandon you. I'm not going to abandon you. I promise. We love you, (y/n)." He answered.

You sighed, walking over to him and hugging him and your mother. "I love you too. And I'm sorry for leaving like that last night, I just had to get away. Thank you for this. Thank you for changing."

(A/N: Don't worry, we're far from done y'all, we got a long way to go.
