About a week or so passed, at least that's what it felt like, and you were starting to lose count after being alone for so long.

The windows were boarded up, with no light or anything coming through them. It was constantly dark and man, it fucked you up. You barely had any perception of time left.

You only knew when it was morning, afternoon, and night because Mirio brought you down meals. And you barely had anything to do, the only thing in the basement being the mattress and blanket you have. Sometimes you try to sleep, but you usually end up having nightmares.

You hadn't seen Tamaki either, your guess as to why being Tamaki beginning to have second thoughts and regrets, and you knew if you were able to get him to talk to you he might get you out of here.

Unfortunately, you hadn't talked ever since you went off on them when you first woke up here. You knew why they weren't talking to you. They wanted to show you how much you needed them. They wanted to break you. They wanted you to give in and run into their arms.

But you refused, not looking at Mirio whenever he brought you food, staring at the wall instead. It's not like you could eat it anyways, you had been struggling to eat recently, barely able to keep anything down ever since your fight.

You supposed a part of it was all the trauma and processing of everything. Or maybe Mirio and Tamaki poisoned you and were trying to torture you like this. Now, you doubted that was true but you could never be sure.

Still, you were getting nowhere trying to hold your ground. You have to talk to Tamaki and to do that, you have to get them to trust you. So, you supposed you would talk with them again.

It wasn't long until dinner, Mirio giving you a bowl of pork ramen tonight. placing it on the floor, dropping some chopsticks alongside it. You cautiously crawled over to the bowl, still not looking at Mirio and putting the bowl in your lap.

He sighed, getting to his feet and turning away, heading over to the stairs, before you stopped him. "I want to go home."

That made him pause, before continuing up the stairs. "Wait, I'm sorry okay? Can you stay? Please? I just don't want to be sick like this all alone. I hate it."

Satisfied with your words, Mirio joined you, sitting down across from you. You tired sipping the broth, knowing it was probably the only thing you could keep down, before taking a test bite of the pork.

"Are you feeling any better? I know your stomach's been bothering you." Mirio asked as if nothing had happened between you. As if he didn't do all those things you knew he did.

"Not exactly. And it's not like the bucket that I use to go to the bathroom being five feet away from me is helping either." You said, trying to take another bite.

"I'm sorry, (y/n), but you know I can't." He told you, making you sigh. You knew he was right. You knew he didn't trust you, but you had to at least try to get him to if you had any chance of getting out of here.

"I know...How has Eri been?" You asked, trying to change the topic and move on to something else. You had been kidnapped on the last week of school, so now they have all the time in the world to care for her.

Mirio smiled at you, before scratching the side of his neck anxiously. "She's good. We managed to get her to go to some summer camps. But she misses you a lot. Sometimes, we hear her cry herself to sleep and- I hate lying to her."

"What did you tell her?" You questioned after a long pause. You needed her back. You needed to get out.

"I told her you were out at another camp. She barely even believes me. She insists that you wouldn't go anywhere without telling her." Mirio answered, and you felt a small pinch in your heart. She knew you too well.

I'm so sorry, Eri. I'll be with you soon. I promise.

"When can I see her again?" You couldn't help but ask. You were growing desperate. You missed her so much. You needed to see her.

"Soon, I promise. This won't be forever." He reassured you, putting a hand on your shoulder, making you flinch slightly.

You forced a smile, putting your hand over his, patting caressing it softly. "I know, I just miss her. Can I ask you a favor? Can I please, just use the bathroom upstairs? It's so dehumanizing and humiliating having to go in a bucket. Please."

"I want to believe you, (y/n). I love you and I hate that you have to go through this. But I don't think I can let you-"

"I promise I won't run, you can even wait outside the door while I go. Please, just anything that's not this." You begged, gesturing to the bucket.

"Alright, fine. But I'll be standing outside waiting for you." He sighed reluctantly, pulling a key from his back pocket and undoing your handcuffs, something you noted for a later attempt to escape.

You rubbed your sore wrists, soothing them from the blisters and rash you got from the shackles. Mirio took your hand, leading you up the stairs. On the left, of the staircase, there was a bathroom.

The light upstairs made you squint your eyes from how bright it was. The sun was setting outside, pink light coming through the window and filling the room. You never realized how much you missed the light, feeling it against your skin. It was incredible.

You managed to avoid the nagging temptation to escape, focusing more on trying to gain Mirio's trust. All you had to do was get out through the window, but you knew you couldn't. Taking a deep breath, you ran some water over your wrists, hissing slightly at the burning pain, but reveling in the peace you got from finally being slightly clean again.

Closing the door, you let Mirio lead you back down into the basement, chaining you up once again. "Wait, Mirio, one more thing. When can I see Tamaki?"
