You awoke to a throbbing pain in your head, a slight ringing in your ears. As your eyes slowly fluttered open, you glanced around at your surroundings, taking in the place. It was dim and cold, and you couldn't help but shiver slightly.
It seemed like you were in some sort of basement, one that you didn't recognize. You were laying out on a mattress, a thin blanket covering your lower half. Above you, your hands were chained up to some sort of pipe.
And that's when you remembered what happened, and how you got here. Immediately you began to panic, struggling against your chains, jerking them around, and trying to get free. Tamaki walked in, looking over at you. "M-Mirio, she's awake."
As both boys walked downstairs and over to you, you scrambled away from them, trying to get as far as you could, ending up pressing your body against the wall. Tears began to stream down your face as you realized what was happening to you. "Oh no, no no no."
"Easy, (y/n). We're not going to hurt you-"
"Where's Eri? Where is she?" You shouted, so loud that you even surprised yourself and made Tamaki flinch. Your voice was hoarse due to the choked-up sobs stuck in your throat, the tears still flowing like a river.
"S-she's safe. She's staying with us and we're taking good care of her." Tamaki tried to soothe you, but that only made you even more hysterical.
You rocked yourself back and forth, tucking your face against your knees. "Oh my god, oh my god."
"(Y/n), look at us," Mirio called. You couldn't look at him. You just couldn't.
But Mirio grabbed your face, forcing you to look up at him. And you saw them. Mirio and Tamaki. Your lovers, your best friends, your whole world. How could they have done this? It couldn't have been true.
"Please, tell me you didn't kill Shigaraki. Tell me you didn't kill Touya or Chisaki or Nejire." You begged, wanting, needing it to be true.
But it wasn't. Because the two boys you once knew, you once loved were cast in a completely different light. One of murderers, stalkers. People who could do horrible things. People who ruined your life.
They only traded glances with each other, not answering you. Because they too knew the truth about themselves, and now, so did you.
So, you jerked your head away from Mirio's grip, wiping your tears away on your knees. Your once scared and sorrowful look now angry and disgusted. "You sick psychopathic fucks, you did it. I can't believe you did it."
"We did it because we love you." Mirio started, reaching out for you, but you only moved away, shaking your head at him. "Don't you fucking touch me. You never get to touch me again after what you did. You hurt me when you promised you wouldn't."
"We- I had to! Or else you would've gone to the police, and we would've been over. It's not like I wanted to hurt you, I never wanted or want to do that. And we had to kill them because they were standing in the way of our love. It was all because we love you. And look what happened when they were out of the way. Your life was better, you were better! You just didn't know how or why." Mirio explained.
But you shook your head, feeling nausea rising inside you. You ended up doubling over and vomiting right next to the mattress, both boys trying to comfort you, but you shouted at them. "Stay away from me! This- This isn't love. This is sick. You both are sick. Stay the hell away from me."
"(Y/n), please, don't be like this." Tamaki pleaded.
"No. I can't believe that I thought I didn't deserve you. That I thought you were my whole world. And you, you invaded my privacy and alienated my life. You violated me. You stalked me and killed my friends, and you hurt me chained me up in your fucking basement. Both of you are insane to think I could ever love you when you did- when you did this."
Tamaki's eyes fell to the ground, and he practically shrunk behind Mirio, who had a hurt, angry expression on his face, his once bright and happy eyes growing dark.
"Those photos you found, those were Shigaraki's. He stalked you, and out everyone, the things he did were the most violating. He was dangerous, (y/n). Not only that, he was in a drug ring with Dabi. They were bad people. And then there was Chisaki, who was a yakuza boss, a man who killed and hurt people, and not just other people, he hurt you. He abused you, and you think he doesn't deserve this? Nejire bullied you, she stalked you and was obsessed with you. We did this to keep you safe, and we changed your life for the better. You should be grateful." Mirio shot back, but that only further enraged you.
"I should be- I should be grateful? Did you even hear what I just said you fucking sicko? Sure my life was a mess, but it was still my life. I didn't want two sick twisted bastards to invade it and ruin it all. Touya was my friend, sure he had gone down the wrong path, but he didn't deserve to die. None of them did. I can't believe I let you two in. I can't believe I trusted you, I loved you- I should've never loved you, and I will never love you again. You both are broken fucked up messes and you deserve to rot in hell." You seethed back at him, glaring at them.
Your words hurt both of them, especially Tamaki who began to sob quietly, trembling and blubbering, trying to reason with you. "It wasn't- it wasn't our faul-"
If the situation wasn't so dire, you'd probably be laughing in his face. In fact, you felt some pride bloom in your chest knowing that you hurt him. Knowing that he could experience a tiny bit of what you felt. Of what they put you through.
"You'll see soon enough how much you need us. C'mon Tamaki, let's go." Mirio said, pulling Tamaki away and leading him up the stairs.
