dream sat down after he sent the last text.

there was no hope.

he was so exhausted of fighting it, it was only 3 days so far.

he shut his green eyes and rolled over as tears flew down his cheeks.

"dramatic"

he thought to himself as he wiped the tears off his cold cheeks.

he felt pathetic and weak that he had been so attached to someone just as messed up as him.

he'd lost sapnap and it's all his fault.

he'd dug himself so deep, all caught up in george this george that, that he couldn't make time.

but he couldn't do anything now. it was too late and now he has no one to hold him up.

his hand reached for the bag in the bottom drawer and pulled it out.

his heart sank as he knew he had no control over himself at that point.

he had it in his hands as he rolled it up and pulled out the lighter.

he inhaled through his lungs, making him cough up a bit from a distance of being clean.

no sapnap no george

it was just him and the rolled up joint in his shaking hand.

it destroyed his thoughts, sending him into a mindset that he couldn't change.

the fumes were the only thing there keeping him from not doing what he'd wanted to.

the blade.

he laid onto the headboard, running his fingers through his dirty blonde hair.

it was greasy from the long time without showering.

but he didn't care.

he didn't care about anything in this moment.

it was so blurry to him.

it's almost like he doesn't regret it.

minutes passed as every last hit sent him away from every problem he'd approached.

every last bit of pain disintegrated from his chest, floating away as he felt a lift.

he'd lost himself already.

that proved to himself how he dumb he was.

he shouldn't have relied on other people, because now there wasn't anyone.

maybe george had left him for that reason.

maybe he wanted a break.

he felt his chest ache as he thought of it.

he let the thoughts float away farther and farther pushing them away from everything.

he felt his phone buzz next to him.

the ID read-

sapnap
hey dude i'm sorry for being like that. you good?

dream chuckled. forget it. it didn't matter.

dream
forget abt it.

dream powered off his phone, letting the toxins take him and his thoughts away, leaving him in an empty puddle.
