Home for the Holidays

December came around and everyone was getting busy.

First, the boys decided to throw Jin a surprise birthday party at their dorm since he was allowed to go out that day while serving his mandatory military duties.

Yoongi, Hoseok, and Jeongguk were assigned to do the cooking while Aen, Jimin, Namjoon, and Taehyung were on decorating duties.

When Jin arrived later that afternoon, he was welcomed with one of the most heartwarming group hugs that Aen had ever seen.

She took some pictures for them to remember that precious day.

Afterward, Yoongi introduced her to him.

"Ahhh... Finally, I get to meet you."

"Likewise... J-Jin-sshi?"

"Ehhh? You're not calling me, Hyung?"

"R-right... Jin-hyung..."

"That's better. We are family after all."

And Yoongi smiled at that.

He was glad.

Finally, all the members-his brothers-had met his soulmate and had accepted her as well.

It really meant a lot to him.

"Tell me if he gives you a hard time, I'll smack some sense into him," Jin joked.

"Hyung..."

"What? I'm just letting her know she can count on me, too, since you know... I've been away for too long."

"Right..."

"Come Aen, let me tell you about all the embarrassing stories I've got about Yoongi."

"Hyung!"

"What? Isn't she your soulmate? She deserves to know Yoongi."

"What are you? My mother?"

"Ohh? So you've been told Aen? About lots of things by Auntie? Tell us all the juicy details then!"

The boys started crowding her.

"U-uhm... I... Uh..."

Yoongi grabbed her and pulled her into a tight back hug, effectively shielding her from the guys.

"Stop it."

"Ohhhhhhhhh~" they all chorused teasingly.

"What a protective boyfriend indeed." Jin says with a smirk.

He reached out and patted Aen's shoulder, his expression softening for a moment.

"In all the years I've known him, I've never seen him like this. You're good for him, Aen-ah."

"Ahhh... Now I feel so envious..." Jimin said as he clung to Taehyung.

"Me too..." Tae replied to him.

"I hope I can find my soulmate soon..." Jung Kook said dreamily.

"Same! Then I'll give her my all just like Yoongi-hyung!" Hoseok added enthusiastically.

Suddenly Namjoon clapped his hands to gain attention.

"Alright... That's enough. Food's ready guys, we should all dig in now."
