The two months seemed to pass by quickly.

Time, once a slow-moving river, had turned into a rushing waterfall.

Both boys started to prepare themselves for what was coming bracing for a life where their names would be replaced by rank and serial numbers.

Jin documented his preparation for entering the Armed Forces by posting a selfie on @BTS_twt with a caption of emojis ✂️🧒 making fans anxious yet excited about what he would look like.

The next day, a Bangtan Bomb uploaded to their YouTube channel showed the exact moment the clippers met his hair, garnering millions of views in less than a day as fans flooded social media, saying that he still looks incredible and is still 'Worldwide Handsome' even with a military haircut.

While Jin prepared for the barracks, Yoongi posted his own selfie on @BTS_twt with the caption "I'm ready."

His long, blonde-tinted locks were gone, replaced by hair dyed back to deep black.

The dark color seemed to sharpen the quiet intensity in his eyes, a look of someone who had accepted his fate, whatever it may be.

In just a few days, they will officially start their military service.

The numbers on the calendar were finally hitting zero.
