The Morning After & The Public Eye
Yoongi and Aen had spent the whole night, wrapped in each other's arms, making love as if they were trying to make up for every second of the years they had lost.
Aen felt incredibly lucky.
She had never felt so wanted in her entire life.
Yoongi had made sure she felt the full weight of his devotion with every touch.
Yoongi felt the same; the moment they had become one, it felt as if the universe had finally aligned and nothing could ever go wrong again.

Morning came, and Yoongi wasted no time taking good care of Aen.
He woke up first, pressed a lingering kiss to her forehead while she was still lost in sleep, and headed to the kitchen to cook breakfast.
Once he was done, he checked on Aen, who was still sleeping peacefully amidst the tangled sheets.
He decided to bring everything to the bedroom and surprise her with breakfast in bed.
He set the tray down on the nightstand and sat beside her, watching her carefully.
Back then, when the numbers on his wrist had first appeared, he had been terrified of meeting her.
"I'm sorry. I was foolish back then," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
He caressed her face and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
"I promise to make up to you, Jagiya, for all the lost time when we should have been together."
As if on cue, like a scene from a movie, Aen opened her eyes and looked up at him with a soft smile.
"I promise to do the same."
Yoongi smiled back at her.
As he reached out to stroke her cheek, the '0' on his wrist caught the morning sunlight streaming through the curtains.
It didn't just glow anymore; it looked settled, a permanent part of his skin that finally made sense now that they were together.
"Were you awake all this time?"
Aen smiled sheepishly.
"Uhmmm... The smell of the food woke me up."
Yoongi chuckled lightly and Aen giggled at the sound.
"Hungry?"
Aen nodded eagerly.
Yoongi set the breakfast tray across her lap.
"Wow! It looks good, Yoonie."
"Of course. I made it specifically for you."
"Thank you," She leaned forward to kiss him on the cheek.
"Anything for my Princess."
Aen blushed furiously and playfully smacked Yoongi's arm.
"D-don't call me that!"
Yoongi laughed, the sound bright in the quiet room.
"But you are my prin-"
Aen cut him off by covering his mouth with her hand.
"Yoon!"
