A Night to Remember (Or Not)
The kiss they shared was sweet at first, until it turned into a full-blown make-out session that left them both breathless when they broke apart for some air.
For some reason, the atmosphere felt different.
It was as if they were both hypnotized by each other's hooded looks and started to kiss again.
But a sudden knock on Aen's door startled them and they broke away.
Both were still breathing heavily as Aen looked at the door.
Yoongi squeezed her waist and then buried his face in her shoulder, letting out a low, frustrated groan.
She was still straddling him and she realized both of them looked like a wreck.
"Nice timing..." Aen chuckled at that.

Afterwards, they both took a shower—one at a time—and freshened themselves up since dinner was nearing.
The knock earlier was from one of Aen's cousins, an older kid who was told to inform them that dinner would start soon.
It was Yoongi who opened the door for him after fixing his hair and clothes so he would look presentable.
The kid was tense when he saw Yoongi but still managed to tell him in English what he was asked to do.
Yoongi smiled at him and patted his head, which made the boy relax and smile back.

It seemed a lot of people were invited to Aen's birthday dinner.
Suddenly she felt quite nervous—not for herself but for Yoongi.
He must have noticed her unease and squeezed her waist with the assurance that everything was going to be fine.
She clutched at his arm and shook her head.
"That's not it. I'm afraid for you. These people might take pictures and post them on SNS. They will know that you're here."
"Ahh! Right..." Yoongi mused, a small smirk playing on his lips.
"Do you have WiFi? I need to connect my phone; I think I used up all my data earlier."
She hit him lightly on the arm.
"Yoon! I'm being serious."
"Relax. I told you it's fine," he said, his voice dropping to a more serious, comforting tone.
"It really doesn't matter to me if they post it or tweet it. I don't care who sees where I am right now."
"But..."
"What matters to me is you," he interrupted softly.
"Enjoying your special night, with the people who are important to you without worrying about me."
"O-okay."
"Now let's take a photo together, Jagi" he added, pulling her closer.
"I want to be the one to tweet it first, anyway."
"Fine," Aen whispered, finally letting a smile break through her worry.
She took his phone and quickly typed in the household password, watching as the bars at the top of his screen filled up.
