The Open Secret
The morning light filtering into the suite was soft, unhurried, and blissfully quiet.
Aen blinked awake to the feeling of weight against her chest and the rhythmic, steady beat of a heart against her back.
She didn't move.
She simply let the realization wash over her: the wedding day was behind them, and the man holding her-the man whose ring was now a permanent, heavy weight on her finger-was her husband.
Yoongi stirred, his arm tightening around her waist as he pulled her closer, his morning voice a low, gravelly rumble against her ear.
"Morning, Yeobo."
The word still felt new, tasting like honey and belonging.
She turned in his arms, pressing her forehead against his chest, feeling the warmth of his skin.
They spent the next few hours in a cocoon, sharing a slow, lazy breakfast on the balcony, moving with the easy, unhurried grace of two people who had nothing left to hide.
They talked, they laughed, and for the first time in their lives, they didn't check the clock.
While Aen eventually drifted back into a light, peaceful sleep, Yoongi stayed awake.
He leaned against the headboard, his phone bathed in the blue light of the morning.
With a ghost of a smile, he created his personal Instagram account.
He didn't rush.
He followed the official team, and then, he set his profile picture: a candid, warm shot of him and Aen from the wedding, their faces turned toward each other, utterly lost in their own world.
He put the phone down, content.
It was there now, a digital mark of his existence as a man with a home to return to.
Meanwhile, the world outside was already beginning to hum.
It started with a single notification that rippled into a tidal wave.
On the official BTS Twitter account, a single photo appeared, captioned only with a purple heart.
It was the wedding portrait-not a stiff, formal pose, but a moment of chaotic, beautiful joy.
Yoongi stood at the center, his arm around Aen, who was beaming.
Beside them, the rest of the members were crowded in, their expressions unfiltered and proud.
Hobi was laughing, his arms securely holding a giggling, miniature-sized Carly, while Bang Si-hyuk stood to the side, looking every bit the proud architect of a legacy that had just found its heart.
It was the "Wedding of the Century," served up to the world without a single tabloid watermark or speculative headline.
When Aen finally stirred, Yoongi leaned down, pressing a lingering, soft kiss to her temple.
"What time is it, Yoon?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper, still drowsy with sleep.
Yoongi traced the line of her shoulder with his thumb, a small, knowing smile touching his lips.
"Early enough. We have time to breathe before we have to head to the airport for the honeymoon."
"Mmmmm... That's good."
