Tortured

Both Ahsoka and Anakin made their way through the dark, underground building. The hallways seemed to stretch for miles. They had received word that Dooku may be located here, so Anakin and Ahsoka headed in to search.

"Why would Dooku be here?" Ahsoka asked. She cast a quick glance up at her Master.

Anakin turned his head toward her while still paying attention to where they were heading. "Well, since the Council apparently picked up a few leads around here, it'd be worth checking."

Ahsoka nodded. As they walked, she kept her hand firmly on the lightsaber attached to her belt. It was best to be prepared in case something happened.

So far, it was nothing but the quiet and emptiness. They weren't exactly sure when this hallway even ended, but they continued walking.

"When is this gonna end.." Ahsoka groaned. "I don't mind walking, but walking down an endless hallway isn't what I had in mind.."

"Me either, Snips," Anakin replied. "But if we don't find anything soon, we'll have to comm the others and inform them. We'll give it 10 more minutes."

Ahsoka nodded, albeit reluctantly. But she decided that 10 more minutes wasn't incredibly bad. Better than another few hours..

She found that it seemed to grow darker and darker the longer they walked, and soon they began to spot lit up torches lining the walls. It was a relief to finally be able to see, though.

But, finally; after what seemed like hours of endless walking, a large archway appeared up ahead.

They made their way through and came into a large room. It was mainly empty, except for a few desks and-

"Magna Guards?" Ahsoka asked, spotting the electro-staffs the figures were holding.

Anakin nodded. "Be careful."

The Magna guards charged toward them. Both Anakin and Ahsoka managed to keep them at bay with their lightsabers. Ahsoka was nearly struck a few times herself, but managed to block the attacks.

Anakin was holding up well, one of the Magna Guards had already fallen. They fought for a few more minutes before a sudden familiar voice rang out.

"Ah, I see you've finally arrived, Skywalker. And you even brought your padawan.."

Ahsoka and Anakin's attention snapped to the doorway, where Dooku stood. The Magna Guards had backed off for now, but no doubt they'd continue their attack when Dooku gave the word.

"Dooku," Anakin growled.

"You've fallen right into my trap," Dooku smiled.

Then, Ahsoka screamed. One of the Magna Guards had caught off her off-guard, slamming its electro-staff into her back.

Anakin spun around and rushed toward her. "Ahsoka!"

He caught her before she struck the ground. "Ahsoka, can you hear me?"

She gave a pained groan in response. Anakin then turned his attention back toward Dooku.

"I can sense your anger, Skywalker. If only you would use it," Dooku smiled.

"No," Anakin said flatly. He helped Ahsoka to steady herself and made sure that she was alright before he lunged toward Dooku.

He quickly pulled out his blood-red lightsaber and blocked Skywalker's attempted attack. Ahsoka was surprised at how quickly they fought, it was almost a blur.

She held back the Magna Guards, which had just begun to attack. She tried her best to keep them away from her Master.

It was difficult for her to keep up throughout all the chaos, and out of the corner of her eye she noticed Dooku shove Anakin backward, where a Magna Guard quickly slammed its staff into his back.
