- despite your dad causing trouble (in good fun) with his coworkers from the hospital, you were kind of the opposite of him

- he was outgoing, and you were kind of more on the shy side

- when he was your age he liked to party all night, where as you would rather stay in

- he honestly was grateful that you weren't like him and didn't cause a lot of trouble

- god knows he would've had his hands full

- you would ask your dad if you could go out with your friends tonight

- he said sure, because he had no reason not to trust you

- until tonight

- "be back by nine, ok?" your dad would tell you as he watched tv on the couch

- "yeah i will. love you." "love you too munchkin."

- you and your friends would go out to a night cafe and take some pictures

- then drove over to an empty beach

- you guys stayed there, and just talked about life

- until your phone rung which caused you to look at the time

- 11:48 pm

- your heart skipped a beat when you realized that it was your dad who was calling you

- "crap. guys i forgot my dad told me to be home by nine and now he's calling me, what do i do!?" you panicked to your friends

- "well answer it!" one of your friends told you

- you nodded as you took a deep breath and answered the phone

- "hello?" "y/n where the hell are you!? do you realize what time it is!?" your dad yelled through the phone

- "look, i'm sorry i just lost track of time." you tried to explain

- "y/n, come home. now." he said before hanging up.

- you could hear the anger in his voice

- which kinda scared you, seeing as you rarely got in trouble

- when you came home you met your dad sitting on the couch with his arms crossed

- "oh there's my loving daughter, who's two hours late!" your dad passive-aggressively told you as he stood up and walked over to where you were
