- at first when you told him you had a boyfriend he didn't believe you
- "yeah right." he would chuckle
- until he realized you were serious
- "you have a what!?"
- he would be mad that you didn't tell him earlier
- "why the hell am i just finding out about this now?"
- you two would be watching tv together
- and out of nowhere he would be like "i want to meet your boyfriend."
- you knew he would want to meet him, but you were kind of scared for how he would react
- you wouldn't really know what to say
- "invite him over for dinner tomorrow night."
- and so you did
- your boyfriend was pretty scared as well
- he knew how close you and your dad were, so if mark didn't like him it was over
- you planned to have him over at 6 pm
- "he better be a nice boy." mark would tell you
- it was 6pm and your boyfriend rang the doorbell
- you would rush to get the door, but your dad beat you to it
- "be nice dad!" "when am i not nice?"
- your dad would answer the door
- while your boyfriend stood there all nervous
- "hi mr.sloan, it's really nice to meet you." your boyfriend would greet your dad, sticking his hand out to shake
- "it's dr.sloan" your dad would shake your boyfriend's hand
- "um dad, this is y/b/n." you would introduce your boyfriend to your dad
- it wasn't long before you all sat down at the table for dinner
- "so y/b/n, did you know i'm a plastic surgeon?" your dad would take a bite of his dinner
- "um, no sir i didn't." your boyfriend would nervously clear his throat
- your dad would send you a look
- "y/n, how could you not tell him i'm a plastic surgeon? that's like my whole trademark, it's what i'm known for." your dad would try to whisper at you but your boyfriend could still hear you
