- you had a big test that you were preparing for
- it was a chem test and you've studied quite a bit
- you stayed up really late cramming a few nights before
- then again the night before your test
- you ended up getting no sleep at all
- your mom came in the morning to wake you up, but you were already awake
- "hey you're up early." she would smile at you
- "yeah i um, i'm just excited for my test." you would tell her, not wanting to confess about the fact that you got no sleep
- you would take a shower, hoping that it would wake you up, but it didn't
- after you showered you went downstairs and met your dad making breakfast in the kitchen, and your mom drinking coffee while reading a medical magazine
- "hey kiddo, you ready for your test?" your dad would put some eggs on your plate
- you would lightly smile as you took the eggs and shrug at him
- "i guess i'm excited." you would tell them
- your mom shifted her focus to you
- "you told me your were excited."
- your dad being stricter about most things, but your mom was strict about school
- she was always at the top of her class and she wanted you to be the same
- "i am. i guess i'm just nervous." you would tell her
- "well don't be. you got this. now eat, so we can review your notes again."
- your mom put a lot of pressure on you to become a surgeon like her and your dad
- with all the pressure, you weren't sure if that was what you wanted
- your parents dropped you at school as you went into your class where your test was taking place
- you took a seat and got out all of the school supplies that you needed
- your teacher handed out the test and you took a look at it
- you had suddenly forgot everything you had studied
- you started to get really nervous
- you were sweating and your palms were shaking
- so you decided to grab your bag and leave the class
