"Forgive me." It seems as if time has stood still for this moment. Ryan slowly turns his head away, as you watch his finger curl back on the trigger.

You flinch as the gun goes off, waiting for the pain but nothing comes. You open your eyes, finding Peter restraining Ryans arm, the gun now being held at a 90 degree angle.

You blink twice, looking surprised, "Ryan, drop the gun." Peter says between clenched teeth, struggling with Ryan.

"She-NO-She's-PETER!" Ryan shouts incoherently as Peter continues his hold on him. Greg quickly is beside his brother, helping to retrain Ryan.

Torrin comes out from behind assists Greg as Peter lets go of Ryan and heads straight for you.

You flinch back, not sure how Peter will react, yes he did just save you from a bullet to the head, but that doesn't mean you're in the clear.

Peter stops in his tracks, looking surprised by your behaviour.

"I promise I will not hurt you." Peter says genuinely as he leans forward offering his hand.

You watch him warily, feeling overwhelmingly upset by Ryans actions. You carefully grasp his hand, and are pulled up from the ground.

You're body feels weird, like numbing weird, but you are able to move, which is what's most important.

"How you are managing to move?" Peter questions as you shrug. You look past Peter to Ryan being restrained by Greg, and Torrin, who is watching you with wary eyes.

"Torrin?" you question as he scoffs and looks away. You stare back at Ryan who is struggling to break free from Greg.

"Let me go!" Ryan growls angrily as Greg has trouble holding him down, "She's one of them!" he cries out, looking completely insane, "He turned her - he turned her - he turned her..." Ryan kept repeating as his struggle slowly died down, his body drops to the ground, as he incoherently mumbled to himself.

His eyes are wide, bulging, as if he was internally struggling with himself.

You look away, feeling a tight pain in your chest, which you wondered if that was your heart. It may not beat, but it was still there.

"Emi," Peter coos softly as you turn your attention back to him, quickly killing any emotions you had with the situation. You found it odd that you are able to detach yourself so easily from the situation. It must be a common vampire trait.
