I'm Being Stalked By A Ghost & Hunted By A Vampire

Part Forty-Three

You awaken with the sun shining brightly in the room. You smile, feeling happy for the first time.

Eire had left for the sunlight bothers him, leaving you alone in your room. You stand up from the bed and stretch, stepping away.

You change into jean shorts and a pink tank top; you decide not to wear socks today. You step from the room, somewhat remembering where you are supposed to go.

You wander down the corridors, somewhat aimlessly until you come across the front foyer. Well at least you are on the right path.

You quickly head in the direction Avent said to go and finally manage to find the kitchen. You walk in finding the kitchen empty.

You relax a bit, not really wanting to see Rumor after your little run in. You still don't take him seriously, what could he possible gain from changing you into a vampire?

Solaris stumbles into the kitchen as you watch her look you over.

"Hey, I told you I would get you this morning!" She pouts, her features turning into that of the equivalent of a sad puppy.

You wave your hand, "Don't worry, I think I know my way around here!" she shakes her head, "That's not the only reason..."

You give her a quizzical glance as she sits down in front of you, "Never mind, how was your sleep?" you smile, telling her it was great.

You are happy to have Eire here, it's strange that that's a comfort for you, having a ghost to look out for you.

"Emi," You are pulled from your thoughts as you notice Hasten in the doorframe.

"Oh sorry, yes?" Solaris is watching intently.

"At noon, you will come to my office." He takes his leave. "Well that was short and sweet." Solaris mumbles as you wonder why Hasten would request you to his office. "Weird."

You finish your breakfast, as Solaris smiles brightly "Emi! We need to go shopping today! After your little meeting with Hasten, meet me in my room, we'll get dressed together!"

She winks and then takes her leave. You decide to look around the house until Hasten needs you.

You come across different rooms, all featuring different styles, and looks, until you come to a doorway that leads downstairs.

You remember you are forbidden from going down stairs, so you close that door fast. You take a giant breath of relief as you push out all curiosity.

"Emi, you weren't about to go into the basement, were you?" Avent is stand beside you as you turn to look at him, "No, I just stumbled on it. I quickly closed the doorway as soon as I figured out what it was!" you state as he shrugs, "Anyways, Hasten sent me to get you."
