I'm Being Stalked By A Ghost & Hunted By A Vampire

Part Twenty-Four

"Why are we here again?" Alex, bored out of his mind, asks as you sit in an office building with Hasten and Avent.

Apparently, the vampires have their own government building. It's pretty lively with men and women in business attire running walking briskly by with papers and coffees, talking quietly at the presence of Avent.

Apparently, he is a B-D (BIG Deal) here. Hasten has brought you here to talk to someone about your accessory situation. You feel like you're stuck at the DMV.

"Keir will see you now." The female has blonde hair pulled back into a low sock bun and is wearing a dark blue pencil skirt along with a matching blazer with a beaded undershirt.

Hasten rises as the three of you follow in suit. You end up trailing down halls until you stop at an office practically made of glass, no discretion in this office "Who are we seeing?"

"My lawyer." You anime sweat drop "You guys have lawyers?" You can't believe it, "what could vampires sue someone for?"

"Anything humans can" You glower as Hasten smirks. You all take a seat in a large office with a big glass wall that allows you to see for miles. What expensive taste.

"He's the best around"

You watch as a tall man in a dark blue suit with short, brushed back blonde hair walks into the room and shakes Avent and Hastens hand, completely ignoring you.

"So this is the newest Ayperos clan member?" The man's pure white eyes focus on Alex, "Congratulations! I'm from the Verdelet clan, you can call me Keir" He shakes his hand vigorously as Alex stares with wide eyes slightly confused by the man.

"So, to what do I owe the honour?"

"We're here to talk about the Vetis clan" You watch as Keir face drops and turns to a somber "You and every other clan out there. I tell you, Vetis have been a pain in my side. I am filled up to here" He uses his hands to show exactly how much "with complaints. Honestly I have no idea what is going on."

Hasten leans back resting both hands behind his head "Well we will make this short. Emi here," he points to you "is my accessory. As you can tell by her eyes, someone has tried to make her their accessory." Avent grabs your chin and tilts your head to show the colour change. Keir shakes his head "This is going to be troublesome."

You stare at the giant skyscrapers and buildings that line the street. A sense of vertigo takes over causing you to almost fall.

"Hey, be careful." Avent catches you as you almost trip; you blush embarrassingly as you mumble an apology.

"I'd rather not rack up a large hospital bill while in the USA." You laugh; "Maybe you should have paid for travel insurance?" he scoffs as you pile into the limo.
