I'm Being Stalked By A Ghost & Hunted By A Vampire

Part Thirty-Three

You arrive at the house before Hasten and Avent, andfeel a sudden pang of guilt as you remember Madelyn. 

You hop out of the car and quickly run to the house. You swing open the door announcing that you're home. 

You hear no answer as you rush into the kitchen, empty. You leave quickly checking the bedrooms. 

You come to Alexs room, barging in to find him sitting at his desk, laptop out, giving you a look of annoyance. You forget about Madelyn as you stare at your brother, the brother you forgot. You find a strong emotion coming over you as tears form. 

"You are a horrible brother." Your voice was low, festering with anger, Alex looks taken back as he stands; hand stretched out, looking as if you just stabbed him. 

"Where is she?" Your voice dripping venom as Alex stutters "WHERE IS SHE?" All your emotion, everything you've remembered seem to be piling up, becoming the fuel to your anger. 

"She's in your room." Alex voice was weak, his body appears to be small as he sits back down in his chair, looking lost in his own thoughts.

You leave him to his own, not caring if you hurt his feelings. You are too angry to care what he thinks.

You make your way to your room, entering without a second thought. You notice a bunch of clothes on the ground and pause, the shirt looked familiar. 

You hear Madelyn moan and look towards the bed. At first you're confused as to what she could be doing, sitting on the bed like that, but it clicks when you see River underneath her.

Your face turns bright red as River gives a quick wink and Madelyn covers her upper body with her hands. 

"Oh my god." you turn on your heels and run out as fast as you could manage, slamming the door behind you. 

"Oh my god." You quickly run towards the kitchen as Alex watches you run past. 

You stand awkwardly, unsure of what to do with yourself, you felt so dirty.

A sudden realization hits you, "MY BED!" You fall dramatically into the breakfast nook, as Solaris comes into the kitchen.

"You're bed?" She questions as a flustered Madelyn rushes into the kitchen, River casually following behind her. 

Solaris looks between the two making an O shape with her mouth, understanding the situation right off the bat. 

"Emi," Madelyn pleas. You notice her face is now healed, cheeks pink and a glow to her skin. 

"No, I-I-I should have knocked" You find yourself stuttering as River keels over laughing, causing your blush to deepen.

"Emi, I'm sorry. I have no explanation" You find yourself at a loss of words.
