"They left without me!" you stare wide-eyed at the spot where Ryan's car used to be.

"They actually left without me!?" you whine as you look around the parking lot.

Not knowing what to do, since walking on the dark roads seems like a bad idea, you decide the best you could do is head to a bench and complain.

'There has to be a really good reason why they left, like come on, who would leave a friend behind after she ran after her brother, who is missing?'

"I still cannot believe they left! Wouldn't they at least leave someone to wait for me?"

"Who left?" you jump out of your skin surprised to see a boy sharing the same bench.

"When did you get here?" He just shrugs "I was here before you." You stare astonish that you did not notice someone already sitting here.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't even realize you were there!"

You take a closer look at the stranger. His black hair is styled straight, with textured tips, giving it a spiky appearance at the sides, it looks like it would take a long time to style but that's not what caught your attention. It was his eyes, a striking crystal blue so clear it almost looks white. He looks older than you, maybe early 20's.

His outfit gave him a dangerous edge with his dark tight jeans and dark brown form fitting leather coat.

"Nah it's all right." he smirks collectively as you just nod your head a couple of times. You're eyes are drawn into his. You quickly pull your gaze away and stare ahead as you wonder what to say next.

"So who left you behind Emi?" You look back and smile lightly "Just my friends. It was probably something important- Hey wait how do you know my name?" you give him a suspicious glare.

"You're pretty popular in town" he states as you shake your head in disbelief

"I can't believe people are recognizing me!" mortified over the fact that you've become some sort of celebrity over this terrible situation.

"It's a small town." He stretches his arms up as he picks himself off the bench.

"Well since you know my name, what's yours?" he smirks and replies coolly "Avent."

"Nice to meet you" You hold your hand out as he looks at it bemused but shakes it anyways.

"Likewise... so, do you need a ride home?" you wonder if you should take it or not.

"You know, soon the festival will close, and if you can't find your friends, you will be out here all by yourself."

You give him a look over and meet his gaze deciding it's not safe to go off with a stranger. Knowing your luck he's probably bad news.
