Emi's POV

"Do I just barge in?" you question as you come closer to Hastens home.

"All this time has passed, and with everything that has happened, shouldn't this be a little more dramatic than just walking into his house." You state as Ry rolls his eyes, "Not everything has to be dramatic Emi"

"You clearly know nothing of my life." you laugh

You two walk up the road, arriving at Hasten's Driveway. You take a deep breath, building up the courage to walk up the driveway. "Why am I so nervous?" you question, "Maybe you are unsure of how they will react. You are a different person, so you have the right to be nervous. Maybe it's the fear of rejection?" you think over what Ryzil has said, knowing that you already had a horrible encounter with your friends, you would very much like to avoid another one.

"I guess you are right."

You look at the house, taking in the simple design that's concealed partially by the trees. The lights are on, signalling that someone's home. You begin to walk towards the house, taking small, unsure steps.

The fear seemed to grow inside, what if they rejected you? Madame Aja said that because you are an "illegitimate" Tchort clan member, you have to hide from other members. The only thing keeping you walking is the fact that Hasten has been trying to locate you.

You finally reach the front door, and push it open and enter the familiar entrance with the staircase leading to the main level.

The talking from the main kitchen has ceased but no one comes forth to greet you two. After what seemed like an eternity to you, footsteps are heard as someone walks from the kitchen, into the hallway,

"Did you manage to track down-" their voice immediately stops when they notice you at the bottom of the steps, "-Emi."

Avent says, a small smile forming across his lips. He's wearing a form fitted grey suit, while his black hair is brushed back, as if he has been attending a business meeting.

His tie hangs loosely around his neck with the first couple of buttons on his shirt undone.

"I couldn't sense you." Avent says, keeping his baffled look.

"Hello Avent, It is nice to see you again." You speak carefully as he observes your appearance.

"Same to you." He gives you one last look over before stepping back into the kitchen. You quickly remove your boots, and follow Ryzil into the kitchen. You hold your breath as you enter the room, looking around anxiously.

Before you could see who was there you are tackled by Solaris "EMI!" You manage to prevent both of you from hitting the ground as you catch Solaris' body and hold her steady.

She's wearing a pure white long sleeved dress that's snug tightly around the torso as the rest flows out at her waist, stopping at her knees. She has white knee high socks on, along with a white scarf and a white furry hat sits upon her curled blond hair.

"It's been too long!" She nuzzles into your neck as you laugh loudly from her affection. Solaris pulls back, looking curiously at your appearance "I adore your new look! Did you do something new with your hair?" Solaris plays with the strands of hair that lay on your shoulder from your high ponytail.

"I guess you could say something like that." You smile bigger towards her as your brother steps past Solaris to hug you.

Solaris graciously lets him by as he embraces you tightly. He has on a white t-shirt, with a black sweater that's unzipped and an old pair of faded, ripped jeans.
