The mansion has been in an uproar since Hasten agreed to hold the vampire banquet.
Gwen, a prestige party planner had been running around the house with her crew setting up for this big party, for what seemed like weeks.
You guess the reason for preparing the house so early was the sheer size of it. The workers seemed to be human, except Gwen herself, who had beautiful brown hair that mimicked rippling waves as it cascaded down her back, covering her pointed ears.
Everything about her looked to be human, except her ears, which are pointed at the tips. Everyone in the house refused to tell you what she was as an ongoing joke.
You assume she is an elf, being the most realistic thing you can think of. Her skin is radiant, literally, it glows a soft porcelain white, even when there is no light to reflect.
You think she's absolutely stunning, but she doesn't carry the same attraction Solaris has. The theme Gwen has pick is masquerade, in lieu of Halloween.
You find yourself pretty excited, Halloween being your favourite time of year, plus a masquerade; this will be awesome.
You step over a bunch of fabric and props that the crew has left in one of the hallways. You walk into the kitchen to find it filled with large crates and a giant walk in freezer and fridge in the corner, storing things that obviously need to be kept frozen.
You look around, noting how you could not get into the cupboards or the usual fridge where your food is stored.
You sigh, heading towards the giant fridge that you have been forbidden to use. You stand in front, debating whether or not to go in.
Your stomach grumbles loudly giving you the answer you wanted to hear. You place your hand on the lever about to open the door when a hand smacks yours away from the fridge.
"No!" The firm voice shouts as you turn and glare at Gwen, her glare equally matching, "No food until the party!" she scorns as you rub your hand, the sting from her slap still burning fiercely.
"What am I supposed to eat?" You question as she shrugs her shoulders, quickly walking away from you.
"That is not my problem" You watch her walk out of the kitchen as you walk over to the crates blocking you from your salvation.
You attempt to move them, but they do not budge an inch. You puff your cheeks out, finding your irritation levels skyrocketing. You decide to talk to Hasten on what you should do.
You make your way to Hastens office, storming through the doors without knocking. You enter the room, and notice Sven and Rumor sitting in the two occasional chairs in front of the desk, with Hasten sitting in his office chair behind the desk, looking rather displeased with your disruption.
"What a coincidence!" Rumor chimes as he stands "I was just talking about you!" He walks over as Hastens amusement turns into something even darker, a face you have not seen in a long time.
