I'm Being Stalked By A Ghost & Hunted By A Vampire

Part Thirty-Six

Ryan's POV

You let Madelyn drag you up the stairs towards Peter's parent's room. She walks in pulling at your collar, her usual behaviour when she's in the mood. 

"I missed you so much Ryan, I thought I was going to die." She starts out sad but starts smiling "I just kept thinking, how I needed to make it back here, back to you. Ryan I don't want to fight anymore!" Madelyn presses her lips against yours; she clings to you desperately as you stand still, thinking about Peter and Emi. You feel a jolt of rage inside. 

"What's wrong Ryan?" your attention is drawn back to Maddie "Nothing. You should get some rest." You bring her to the bed, as she gives you a pleading whine "Are we back together?" You lay her down on the bed, and tuck her in, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Go to sleep."

"Ryan, please, answer the question!" She begins to hold onto you tightly. You let her hold you in place, your feelings for Madelyn have died out.

You feel it's time to move on, she's not the one for you. "Maddie" She glares "Don't you dare say it Ryan. I refuse to accept that it's over!" by this point she's crying, tears freely falling as her eyes start to turn blood shot.

"I'm sorry Maddie, it's just not working."

You stand up as Madelyn sits up, grabbing your arm, brows pressed together confused "Where are you going?" you take one last look at Madelyn as you close the door. 

You know you can't get back together with her, not if Emi's back. You stand out in the hallway, back pressed against the door.

Emi and Peter, the thought of them kissing tonight won't leave your mind. Why would it bother you so much, it's not like Peters affections for Emi have been hidden, the guy has had a crush on her for years, it's only right that he finally gets her. 

'Now, what's a lowly vampire like you coming after my girl' 

His words play in your head, his girl? She's just came home and she's already his girl? His confidence is high, that's for sure.

"Maybe I should make a move?' 

You find yourself staring at one of the doors, not really sure which room she's in. Greg went to his room; you check the guest room to see it's empty.

"One more room left." You open Peters door to find Josh asleep, you find that strange since you were sure Josh was in the guest room.

You close the door and head downstairs to find Peter and Emi on the floor on a makeshift bed. They've taken all the pillows and cushions off the couch and have made a fort on the floor.

You crawl into the fort and it almost makes you smile how comfortable they look. You join them on the floor, the sun now rising. It's been such a long night, you cuddle on Emi's left side, resting your arm around her waist (Creep Alert...)
