I'm Being Stalked By A Ghost & Hunted By A Vampire

Part Twenty Two

Ryan's POV

After spending a couple of hours at the new club, you decided to head out. It's around 2:30am and this is when the vamps like to come grab the easy game.

You decide to patrol and keep an eye on the drunk just in case. Josh is speaking incoherently, but he is able to walk which makes him more of a target but it's better having him with you than him by himself.

"I'm sorry about what I said!" Josh hangs off your arm as you try to keep him standing.

He's looking at Peter with his arm stretched out as if he is trying to touch him. "I'm sorry about Emi."

Josh becomes an apologetic drunk when he drinks, apologising for everything. "I need your forgiveness!" He pleas at Peter as Peter just agrees. We've all learned the hard way to deny Josh pardon.

You are about to walk past a parking lot when you hear a soft cry coming from behind the buildings.

The whole gang's attention is drawn to the noise.

You quickly run to the back of the building to find the girl in the orange skirt from when you were in the line, holding a girl by the hem of her skirt, as if she was pulling it off.

You quickly pull out your gun ready to fire. Peter tells the girl to back away from body.

You could see the body has deep puncture wounds on her neck and the skin has paled.

You can tell right away that she's dead.

"She's dead." The girl tries to reason, "There isn't much you can do now." You see blood on the girl's hands and that's all the convincing you need, she's not human.

"She's covered in blood" Madelyn whispers harshly as you hear Josh grunt from behind.

"Damn, it's that hottie from the line! I knew she was too good to be human." You could see the girl cringe slightly "Have you been the one responsible for the attacks in this city?" You know it's useless, even if she was the one, she'll never admit it.

The vampire stays quiet, as you tire of waiting. "Answer or I'll shoot!" You threaten as she begins laughing, sending a chill down your spine.

'Why does it sound familiar?'

Her voice sounds like a playful tease, "Are you really going to shoot me again, Ryan?"

"What did you just say?" Peter questions faster than any of you could react.

'Shoot her again?' You stare in disbelief, unable to move. You feel as if the air has been knocked out of you.

Could she really be Emi? Her body was voluptuous, slender, and just down right sexy. So unlike Emi's childlike figure.

"Turn around." Greg demands as the woman lets out another laugh, lighter this time.

She begins to turn around slowly until she's facing forward, her eyes shut and her mouth is covered in blood, trailing down the front of her outfit.

You hear different reactions from the group, Madelyn silently stares in awe, as Josh passed out on the ground from the alcohol.

Greg looks bothered, mouth clenched along with his fist. Peter stares calmly, almost looking relieved.

"Open your eyes Emi." Greg asks as you all glance to her face.

Emi smiles softly shaking her head. "I don't think you want me to do that." Her voice was hauntingly sweet to hear, like a sweet lullaby that you've longed to hear for years. You feel like running to her.
