I'm Being Stalked By A Ghost & Hunted By A Vampire

Part Forty-Four

You slowly take a bite out of the Nanaimo bar Alex has brought home for you. He showed up with it randomly and left without saying a word.

You smile slightly to yourself as Nanaimo bars are one of your favourite treats. You savor the treat as you keep the memories of that afternoon with Hasten out of your mind.

Solaris is sitting across from you, watching as you enjoy your treat, "That was nice of your brother to bring you a treat." You eye her up as she smiles airily, "Yeah, these are my favourite."

You find it strange that he would do something nice for you, since you two have not been on talking terms for what seems like a year.

"He's a strange one." She mumbles softly, looking as if she is considering something.

"Don't worry too much Emi, he will be back to normal soon," You give her a questioning look, "What do you mean?" her eyes beam with a kindness that is not common in the vampires you know.

"Though I cannot see yours, I have seen his future." She pauses as she sips her green tea, "he regrets his decisions, so do try to give him the benefit of the doubt when he apologises."

You take in the information she's has said, Alex will be apologising soon and that she cannot see your future.

"Ok, first off, not being able to see my future? Is it because I'll be dead? Second, it will take more than a Nanaimo bar to make me forgive him."

She shakes her head, but keeps her smile on, "It was just some helpful advice! Also, I don't know why I can't read your future, but until I figure it out, I'm sticking with you!"

You remember how Solaris told you she's one of the top seers in her clan. You find that impressive, but can't help being a skeptic.

Now that you think about all supernatural stuff that has happened, you guess a seer isn't the worst thing you've come across.

"Solaris, what's going on between you and Avent?" She shrugs looking disinterested, "He has always had a thing for my clan, ever since I was made actually..." her pink eyes shine with delight, "He is a doll, but I'm not interested."

You nod your head, kind of feeling bad for Avent. The way he looks at her is heart breaking, he almost seems desperate for her attention.

"Emi, my clan has that effected on all gender, I know you can feel my sex appeal." Your cheeks heat up as she laughs softly, "It's not like you can do anything about it, we have exceptional allure. Don't be embarrassed that you feel that way, everyone does." Her words are reassuring, since for a moment you thought you might have been attracted to the opposite sex.

"That must be hard, having the whole world wanting to get into your pants." She once again shrugs her shoulders, "It has its ups and downs."

She yawns with grace as you stare astounded by this girl's beauty. You wonder what it would be like to be apart of Solaris' clan but quickly diminish the idea.
