Greg's POV

You watch silently as Ryan practices sparing with Peter. You three have spent the last couple of months in the private gym owned by the Whites family.

Gwydion has some of the toughest training regimes around the world, so you are not surprised that Ryan and Peter have sweat dripping from their bodies.

They hold in their hand sparing daggers as they're breathing heavily, looking as if they may collapse at any moment. They sprint at each other, locking their weapons, as their strength matches.

They break free, only to re-enter the struggle of strength. It only last for a moment, as Peter quickly brings out his foot, taking Ryan's leg out which causes Ryan to fall and lose the fight.

The two pause, only to quickly break out in a hearty laugh, Peter extends his hand to help Ryan backup.

"Way to go Pete, I'll get you one day." Ryan smiles big as Peter scratches the back of his head.

"You're technique is getting better, just working on being aware of your surroundings and a little bit more speed, you'll be ready to take your exam." Peter reassures him as you stand up walking towards the two of them.

Ryan has been training hard since the death of your friends that terrible autumn night. He has bags under his eyes and his skin is pale from all his indoor training.

He's bigger, stronger, and more agile than ever, but you are concerned for his mental health. He will not get the revenge he's looking for if he doesn't look after himself first.

"You guys want to get some lunch?" the two turn towards you, nodding as you throw Pete a towel to dry off.

"That sounds awesome right about now, I'm hungry" Peter smiles while looking at Ryan but turns back to you "Wanna go to the cafeteria?" you nod at Peter's suggestion and the three of you head to get something to eat.

You head out of the training room, past the windows that show the powerful winter weather that Canada is known for. It's January already, soon to be February.

You continue your way down the hall coming up to the bronze memorial wall that holds the faces and names of the hunters who've fallen to the undead. Ana and Penelope have been recently added to the wall, reminding you of everything you have lost.

That battle seems to be the only thing people are talking about around here. You wish you remained conscious for the battle or at least recall Joshes last moments of life, he's been gone for four months now, time seems to be going by so fast.
