"HASTEN!"

Luke shouted as Sven jumps in front of his brother protectively. Hasten snarled animal-like as Rumor slowly rubbed his cheek, sitting up on the ground.

"Ouch!" he mocks, rising to his feet as if nothing had even occurred. "Do not attack our Lord! AND RUMOR!" Luke fumed as he turned sharply towards Rumor, "You turned someone without using the proper channels?!" Luke looked to be in over his head as a large vein sprouted from his forehead, which is strange considering vampires have no pulse...

"I cannot believe this!" Luke mourned. The consequence for this kind of insubordination is death. Death to anyone involved nonetheless. Luke's legs seem to give out on him as he crumples to the floor, hands covering his face, deciding this will be someone else's problem "I can't deal with this."

"You dare touch my property!" Hasten growls as Rumors famous smirk plays across his face, "I believe she belongs to me now." The room becomes still, the conflict has now taken a turn for the worst.

Hasten bares his fangs "You dare challenge me?" Hasten seethes, as Rumor remains his usual playful self.

"It's not much of a challenge. You know you cannot win. I am your superior." He states nonchalantly.

Hastens eyes have now become blood red, his anger consuming his judgement, "Hasten calm yourself." Avent stands before his friend, looking determined to prevent poor judgement.

"You are no threat to me Hasten. Emi is now my property, she will remain in my clan, where she will stand by my side for all of eternity." Rumor emphasizes 'eternity' as Avent turns sharply towards his fellow clan member, his eyebrows firmly pressed together as he glares angrily towards Rumor.

"What is wrong with you? Do you not realize what you have done?" he growls in anger as Hasten body lurches forward, looking ready to attack as a low steady growl continuously emits from his throat. Hastens features have contorted into something inhuman, demonic almost.

"You have no idea what we've been through." Rumor voice held a deep seated hatred, far from his usual cockiness, "She could have died!" he pauses, almost stumbling over his words "She would have died if it weren't for that ghost! I was so close to losing her. It was all over your friends' obsession with bringing back your sister!" Rumor growled, he himself, becoming worked up.

The raw emotion he showed is so unlike his character.

"Why should she be yours? Why do you deserve her? She could do so much better than you. Now that I have granted her immortality, she will do better then you. I can give her the world, what do you have to offer her? You're just a grunt that works under my clan." That was the breaking point. It was all Hasten needed to lunge at Rumor. Rumor, anticipating the attack, countered Hastens charge, with a quick sidestep and deflect with his hand.

Solaris watches as the two battled it out, everyone already knowing the outcome.
"I tried to prevent this." Rumor growls low as he holds Hasten in place by locking his arm around Hastens, holding him in a position that will surely break his neck. Rumor looked down sadly at Hasten, feigning an apologetic smile.

Avent quickly jumps in, making Rumor release Hasten as Sven jumps in to help Rumor. The two seemed evenly matched, which is a strange occurrence, considering Sven and Rumor are much older in vampire years.

Rumor charges Hasten, landing a hit, square in his chest. Hastens back lurches upwards, as the force lifts him off the ground. Hasten manages to grab Rumors arm and holds onto him during Rumors attack, preventing him from backing away.
